• Military Related Spoken Word Poetry

Vice will be reporting on Arts in the Armed Forces:

Bringing thought-provoking and impactful contemporary theater to US soldiers. That’s the mission of Arts in the Armed Forces, a non-profit organization started by Marine-turned-actor Adam Driver (Girls, Star Wars: The Force Awakens). VICE News followed Driver and his fellow actors (including Joanne Tucker, Natasha Lyonne, Eric Bogosian, Peter Scolari, Sasheer Zamata, and many more) as they performed for military audiences in the US and overseas who more accustomed to visits by country cover bands and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

0:28 – She was EXCELLENT in OITNB (Orange Is The New Black).  I did NOT like the latest season of that show though… very disappointing.

Dog-Puppy-Military-Browning-M2Interesting.  Well as long as military members are entertained by this, and it takes their minds off their most likely non-ideal situation overseas then I say great!  If you don’t like it I’m assuming you don’t have to go.  Maybe that’s not how the military works though?  Do you get told to go watch this and have “mandatory fun” even if you don’t want to? haha

  • Keeping Up With The Costashian – Back to Japan

Chris Costa does Japan a second time:

    Chris-Costa-Costashian-Japan-Tour

LOL you just can’t make shit like this up.  His first visit caused so much lustful Asian boy hype, that it was obvious a second one was going to be on the books sooner than later.

If you missed the memes from the first or when he shook his tactical tush on the catwalk and dropped it like it was a hot pot (to OOOOOOOOOOOs from the crowd) make sure you catch yourself up.  Oh and you can watch footage of him playing airsoft too which is amazing.   Hopefully he meets up with the airsoft dance girl this time and does a duet or something.

Thoughts?  I’m counting on copious amounts of shark jumping and memes coming out of this second trip, what about you?  The Costashian eats that up too, so I’m sure he will be spear-heading some meme worthy content guaranteed to go viral in the community.

  • Filming The Knob Creek Machine Gun Night Shoot With A Quadcopter

    It’s lit:

birdman-hand-rubWhoa.  Every single video ever taken at this night shoot was exactly the same until I saw this.

I sure hope there’s no human consumable water supply anywhere near knob creek haha.  Couples would be having babies with like 5 eyes, 24 toes, and night vision.  Night vision would be cool though.  I would definitely operate with that.

  • Belt-Fed 9mm Means Automatic Grins

    Andrew with GY6Vids:

Belt-Fed-9mm-GY6Vidshaha nice!  Those belts and bags hold 150 rounds each.

The manufacturer of this system is Freedom Ordnance.  You can pre-order the upper on their website for $1895… seems reasonable for that amount of fun, but you’ll need an auto lower though of course if you don’t want to just shoot semi-automatic.

There is an up close view of the manufacturer shooting with it you can check out if you like.

Thoughts?  Did you fall victim to the thirst trap Andrew baited his female viewers with starting at 0:34?

  • Ghost Inside The Taurus PT 24/7

Bug or feature?  YOU DECIDE :P

I see some definite self defense advantages with shaky-shooting :P  The failure to eject at 1:29 is problematic, but what can you do when you’re handed something as futuristic as shooting without even using a trigger.

I don’t speak the language (Portuguese?), so I don’t know if this gun is factory or has been modified in any way.  Anyone care to weigh in?  Looks like this might be in reference to the Brazilian police getting 98,000 of their pistols recalled back in 2013.  Wow that would have cost a lot… someone got fired over that I’m guessing.  Turned the color of Caldo Verde and handed in their resignation letter at the very least.  A regional Brazilian joke tie-in for your enjoyment :P.

  • Being Mad At Hollywood For Hollywooding

They keep saying “America needs to speak with their wallets”.  I agree wholeheartedly… and that’s exactly why all those movies and TV shows they don’t like continue to exist.  Take the Kardashians for example.  That show would have tanked after the first couple episodes and all of them would be broke and working at McDonalds if the American people didn’t elevate them to fame.  Sure the members at this NRA Round table are all nodding and agreeing with each other… it’s not surprising.

Spencer And Heidi shotgunTo ask Hollywood to be socially conscious is laughable.  They will keep putting out movies and TV shows for shock value since they know they will make money… ones which will glorify teen pregnancy as something cool, go against common sense, have no educational aspect what so ever, vilify guns and on and on until the end of time because people will collectively keep spending millions and millions of dollars on tickets and rentals.

<— Prime example is these two in the thumbnail.  Like why?  Whyyyyyyy?  *sigh* Because they were MADE famous.  Heidi Montag, and Spencer Pratt.  Hahah it pains me to know that those two names were even taking up room in my brain, that I could recall them just by looking at the picture rather than having to google them.

These NRA discussions are “alright”, but NOIR is still the best thing the NRA has going right now hands down.
