Blackhawk Serpa praising goes awry:
1:05 – “People that I know, who are actually been there done that. They like this holster.”
2:29 – Whoops. There’s the problem… and to think this video was supposed to promote and sell the holster, not teach people a lesson about what could happen.

I don’t have any extended experience with a Blackhawk Serpa, but adding the button just seems unnecessary and dangerous as demonstrated by someone who has *snicker* “Been there done that”. A good kydex holster has plenty of retention as it is. A button under stress seems like the next worst thing to a biometric enabled lock on a holster. “BUT MIKE, 3.193 MILLION POLICE FORCES AND OPERATIONAL UNITS WORLDWIDE USE THIS HOLSTER” <-- cool story brAh, I'm happy for them. Thoughts? Are the people who take issue with the paddle button "just not operator enough to understand"? Gat tip: KR Training via Monica SayUncle and Beau
