• PWS On Their Gas Piston MK1 Rifle

One of those machining / manufacturing videos I like so much:

They talk a lot of shit at the beginning about all the “amount of maintenance required to make the m4 design continually run properly.  We’re constantly fighting to get through full magazine dumps to show how effective the compensators were.”.   Really?  You couldn’t even get through a few magazines back to back in a regular AR without a failure?  I have sub $1000 gas impingement AR-15s and they all work fine.

Looks like they have some expensive equipment and know how to use it anyway!   I’m still surprised the market can support so many manufacturers who all make a very similar product.   It seems to me that the only thing separating a lot of these companies is aesthetics, their own spin on changing aspects of the design, but especially marketing.

PWS-Tactical-Hand-Guard-LengthenerIf you like, you can check out the MK1 series of rifles on PWS’ site which all go for just under $2000.

Thank god PWS quit making episodes of Half Cocked.  That show went downhill quick.

  • Sniping With The Can Cannon

Demolition Ranch with the Can Cannon:

haha man his little girl is adorable.  She should be in more videos saying funny stuff / shooting even.

Demolition-Ranch-Can-Cannon1:30 – Damn Vortex hooked it upppppppppp.  That’s a pretty sweet scope for free, plus it looks badass on that rifle.

He’s getting really good at that.  It would be funny if 3-gun came out with a can cannon course.

  • US Bank Allegedly Says Your Firearm Money Ain’t Good Here

    Reported by Yeager:

Not-US-BANK-LogoMeh.  As far as I’m concerned US Bank can do whatever they want.  If the economy is so good to them they can start selectively playing the “ethics” game and say firearm money isn’t good then *slow clap* for them.  If their horse is so high they also don’t accept money from companies in the oil, chemical, gas, and automobile industries etc… then color me impressed.  That was a joke by the way, because we all know that’s not happening.

1:32 – “We need a network of banks and credit card processors” — yeah… remember gpal (gunpal) and what a disaster that was?  There are too many firearm related “networks” and “services” right now (attempting to substitute in for already existing networks) that are just total pieces of shit.  I’ll be on board with a firearms related processor, service, network etc… when they actually do it properly.  This is perfectly doable in today’s day and age BEFORE trying to acquire a customer/user base and expect them to stick with you and put up with a garbage offering.

What I would like to see happen is “feelings” selectively not getting in the way of business across the board with all large US companies of every type.

This came across my radar too.  A letter from US Bank to a customer who “may have” carried a weapon into one of their locations LOLOL:

  • Yoga For Operators

Yeager talks to a Yoga instructor:

I wasn’t even going to watch the video; I’m glad I did though because it was pretty funny.  Yeager is definitely taking the YouTube channel in a way different direction than I thought he would.  The controversial Yeager made for some great blog posts and a funny comments section, but these videos are more interesting for sure.

James-Yeager-Angel-Approved6:39 – LOL I’d love to be a fly on the wall when someone asks the yoga instructor if they can show up to class in their full operator kit…. and then be there again when they actually do it, rifle and all.

8:17 – hahah she called them “shooting poses”.  Damn that’s cute.

Thoughts? Do any of you guys do yoga?
