The result? Unsurprisingly, not recommended for self defense. The intimidation factor of the shotgun would still likely get someone off your lawn, but do you really want to do them a favor by freshening their breath in the process?

What people could do, is load the +1 shot as a tic tac load, then if whatever monkey breaks in doesn’t stop after that, bust ’em!

i think they would get better performance if they used more. those have to be roughly equivalent to shooting just the wad, and that will not be enough to get the pressure and velocity up to anywhere near normal. he should extend the shell with paper tubing or something and cram a whole oz of ticktacks in there and see if he gets better performance.

I considered the 12 Gauge Lightfield Rubber Slug. Everyone said that if the intruder survived, the intruder could claim they were trying to surrender when/if you shot them again.
