Future military version of groundhog day:
I like the exo-skeletons and the quad tilt rotor craft!
Tom Cruise: “I’m not a soldier”
Emily Blunt: “Of course you’re not… you’re a weapon”
Looks like it could be decent. I’m not that big of a Tom Cruise fan, but I’m sure he’ll be alright in it.
In theaters June 6, 2014.
Thoughts?

I really liked Oblivion. As much as I want to dislike Cruise he seems to keep getting himself casted in quality Sci-Fi.
I think I will ruin it for myself and read the book first.
Yup and I will continue to pirate any movie his piece of shit whiny liberal ass is in, cause he aint getting my money.
Looks like another attempt at “Starship Troopers” with influence from a book tited “Time and Again,” about a couple who keep repeating, and changing their lives in the ’70s. Tom Cruise? I’ll pass.
the movie is based off a japanese light novel called All You Need is Kill
Tom Cruise is a dick apparently, but I just can’t help but enjoy at least half his movies…
What I found interesting was that Emily Blunt is the bad ass of the film…which the little bit they showed did interest me.
If it’s anything like Oblivion, it will rip off every sci fi film in the past 50 years and will probably suck as well.
What was his last sci-fi movie? it was in and out of theaters so fast I can’t even remember it’s name. Did it have a name? It’s like ti never existed.
Part of it looks like the Mobile Drop Infantry described in Robert A. Heinlein’s Starship Troopers (the book not the almost entirely unrelated movie). The rest looks like a video game maybe like Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game (haven’t seen the movie). I’d prolly be excited to see it, if it weren’t for Cruise.
Maybe when it hits Netflix, or Bittorrent – not because I don’t think I’ll like it, I just hate Tom Cruise that much.
The movie is biased on the novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka called “All you need is kill” and its looking like the book as usual is going to be better than the movie.
I don’t do movies in the theater anymore. The question is how long till it hit’s the Wal-Mart $5 bins.
The Movie is based on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_You_Need_Is_Kill to bad they had to Tom Cruise it up.
actually, this reminds me of an even older Joe Haldeman novel “The Forever War”.
That whole series was VERY good. It leads into a whole other series and ends with Zoey’s War.
Is there some kind of mandatory requirement in Tom Cruise’s contract to show him riding a Triumph? Cause that’s literally in every movie he’s in now.
My guess is Triumph is paying for prodect placement
