    5:02 – I want that tiger stripe boat too.  Shit on everyone’s fancy sparkly paint boats at spring break.

    Before this video I didn’t even know the Philippines had a badass special forces.  The video was neat too.. showed some badass stuff but was very low key about it, all keeping flexing to a minimum.  Cool that they are using all American weapons.

    Philippines-Special-Forces7:46 – Ugh I hated treading water and singing in unison.  In fact I spent way too long in swimming lessons in general… like I ever planned on being a lifeguard.  But nooooo my parents thought I should be a water ninja.  Boating and spitting game to girls on the beach rarely requires about average swimming skills.

    10/10 would operate with.

    PWS Makes A Custom Glock Slide – Yawns Echo Across The Land

    Man… “custom Glock Slides” are the new thing apparently.  So many companies making them.

    The usual expected “marketing” talk in the video.  Not something I’d buy, but I’m sure PWS throwing their hat in the ring of Glock custom options is probably a decent move considering they already have the manufacturing equipment.  Price is $449 with stock sights.  Meh.. I fail to see how these mods will really help anyone to do anything useful other than make you appear like more of a high speed low drag operator because your Glock slide corners aren’t radius’d, they are 45 degree’d and you have serrations at the front for “press check” as they say at 0:54.  Press checks are such an operational move; especially when you don’t have to be a basic bitch and only grip the slide by the rear serrations. Note that loaded chamber indicators are also for nerds… avoid giving those the time of day at any cost.  The original Glock slide wasn’t broken… don’t fix it.  Rant over.

    Glock-Diamond-Bedazzled-Pendant-JewelryOn another note, I was shocked at the YouTube comments.  People were actually asking PWS to bring back “Half Cocked” (that cartoon trainwreck).  I didn’t do any secondary research on the commenters but something tells me they must be PWS employees or involved in the cartoon in some other fashion haha.

    Thoughts?  Do you smell a Kickstarter in the works to bring Half Cocked back?

    This is an awesome video / story:

    Zoolander-Travis-HaleyI was working on some stuff tonight and I see an email come though from Jerry with the title “12 minutes of Travis Haley’s flawless skin”.  In the message itself, not much besides the tip to “Watch in 1080p for up-close flawless pores.”.  Hahah you guys know me too well.  I felt so cheated that the introspective Affliction art video he made was dimly lit with bad angles… but Travis delivered on this one.

    I’m curious if he gets residuals off anything MAGPUL related.

    Good American, good businessman, flawless skin, hardworking, seems like a great guy.  What’s not to like?

    10/10 would operate with.

    Deadpool Should Be Good

    Marvel-Deadpool-Spent-Shell-Casings-ArtThat bridge that was basically in the whole trailer was the one I watched them film on.  I used to think seeing movies being filmed would be so magical, but I’ve seen so many now and they are all like watching paint dry.  Everything is so much cooler after they sprinkle the hollywood magic of post effects, sound etc..

    Thoughts?  This one is definitely on my list to see in the theater… you?

    P.S. – If you’ve been following the blog for a long time you might remember my post where someone made a deadpool mask face out of spent shell casings (pictured).  Pretty cool.

    Martin Sheen Gets Shot As NRA’s Wayne LaPierre

    Funny or Die:

    Waynes-World-Get-A-Load-Of-This-Guy-CamHmmmm…. nooooo.  Wow that was terrible.  I take at by the overwhelming number of times people clicked “Funny”, this is the type of “humor” that the anti gun crowd finds amusing?  Saying this is funny to anyone I would have though would be a stretch.  It seems like something some school kids would do for improv.  Martin Sheen has had such an impressive career as an actor, I’m surprised he would stoop this low.  I highly doubt he needs the money / work.  We have known from the past Martin is anti-gun though, so maybe when he saw the opportunity to make an anti gun video he was automatically game.
