There’s a rule that when you have a nice watch and make a video or pose for a picture you always have to casually “not on purpose” flash it.  I don’t make up the rules or enforce them, I’m just telling you the way it is.

    Ammonation x Rock Galotti Hollywood’s Gun Guy

    James-Yeager-Angel-ApprovedI haven’t watched this yet, but I’m sure it will be good.  It’s hard to be mad at a guy who wants the same thing we want… realism in Hollywood movies.  Yeager talked to him in a video preview back in February and it was very interesting. This video is a continuation of that 7 minute discussion.  This is where I nonchalantly mention that I have a girlfriend now.  I’m making her dinner then we’re going to see the movie “The Walk“, so I don’t have time to watch a 51 minute video currently.  Since you asked (thank you for asking btw, you guys are so nice), she’s looking forward to me taking her shooting.  Tinder and everything else was deleted a few weeks ago; Royal Nonesuch‘s mom missed her chance.  I’d still consider adopting Royal Nonesuch though and raising him as my own personal weapons manufacturer.  I predicted and lobbied on the blog for MrColionNoir’s rise to the NRA, and mark my words Royal Nonesuch will impress us with something mainstream gun related someday.

    Thoughts?  Let me know how this video is if you watch it before me. Only Yeager could acquire a Spiderman t-shirt that looks like a shitty Affliction brand design LOL *smh*.

    TrackingPoint American Sniper Shootout For A Good Cause

    Pure awesome:

    0:28 – Ok, it never said this guy’s name but I’m now assuming he owns / founded TrackingPoint.

    TrackingPoint-American-Sniper-ShootoutChris Kyle’s wife Taya Kyle will be competing.  1:30 – $1 Million on the line!  She will be shooting on the TrackingPoint platform v.s. a world class shooting on a military (precision?) rifle.  I always think of a worst case scenario… can you imagine if this world class shooter beat Taya, and kept the $1M?  Oh man that would be like Jesse Ventura levels of butthurt across the board.  Will Jesse Ventura be at this shoot?  Uhhhhhh unlikely (see linked video).

    A Short Peek At DOOM 2016 Multiplayer

    This might have potential:

    Will I buy a game system for it, or a PC to play it?  Probably not, but I’d like to try it out somewhere that’s for sure.  I put in a lot of hours in original DOOM multiplayer for PC.

    Doom-Video-GameI’m glad to see they kept some of the original weapons.  The audio sounds amazing!  I’ll have to see what the actual gameplay looks and feels like though before I make any final judgments on whether this is a fail or not.  I’m getting “very derivative of HALO” vibes from the above video.  I suppose HALO is derivative of DOOM in the first place though, so whatever I don’t know.

    2:43 – Whoa that demon rune thing is crazy!

    NOIR S04E05 – Girl Don’t Tempt Me

    Firearm safety in Schools?  I think it’s a good idea.  The Eddie Eagle program seems great, but still too scary for many simply because it deals with guns.  I’m not really sure how you get around that, unless the government is flat out like “We’re teaching gun safety in schools now.  Deal with it bros.”.

    3:45 – Guns had NOIR straight SHOOK at the jump.  Pretty common for everyone I’d imagine.  I don’t remember where or when I pulled my first non bbgun and non .22 LR trigger, but I do remember being like “WHOA” and getting goosebumps after the recoil and the noise hit.

    4:33 – Interesting… interesting… Ja-mes want’s to go to the range.  Good for her!  If she hates fundamentally hates guns on every level still after that, then that’s up to her and at least she can say that she gave them a try.  I’d never be mad at that.  I really hope this is a 180 degree view changing experience for her though.

    5:42 – haha NOIR… didn’t tell Ja-mes to wear a top to cover up the cleavage huh?  Let’s hope she doesn’t need to do a hot brass dance.  That could ruin everyone’s day.  I shoot in regular sunglasses too, but I know some people are going to have something to say about hers.

    9:35 – Ja-mes thought shooting was scary.  She’s definitely not disgusted and totally freaked out though which is a good sign.  I don’t know if NOIR is going to get another shooting buddy out of this, but you never know.

    Play With Your Gun To Get Used To It

    Asian-Kid-Glock-ToothbrushIf you need me I’ll be blindfolded, hanging upside down naked, listening to Pantera on 11 while detail stripping my Glock 17 with an industrial strength barn fan blowing stink in my face.  You just can’t buy training like that.  You should be able to, but you can’t.

    I might even wild out and attach a toothbrush to my slide for some extra training.
