• 3D Printed Handgun Using Glock Components

I knew this would happen with 3D printing eventually:

    From the description:

The final iteration of the 3D printed Banana Standard pistol is now fully functional. All major controls work perfectly, and all minor tolerances have been corrected. The only issue seems to be that the slide, in conjunction with the recoil spring, are too heavy to cycle properly with a suppressor attached. The frame was printed in PLA at 0.1mm layer heights.

Incredible.  According to the comments on the video, he even 3d printed the frame rails in 17-4 stainless steel.  As you know, the frame is the part with the serial number on it, so he’s making what the internet likes to call a “GHOST GUN”👻👻👻.  Although he could have used a Glock slide, he chose to use some aftermarket one in the videos.  The guy hasn’t made any comments on the long term durability of the PLA.

This is an older version posted last week, where he had some fun with the frame shape:

The guy also 3d printed a VZ61 Skorpion, from measurements he took off a de-milled parts kit and some old blueprints.

Oh man the aftermarket is going to have a field day once this becomes easier and easier to do at home, and the files become open source.  Naturally the lawmakers will be scrambling even more than they are now.

  • Panty Pulls On All The Magazines

haha oh man Waifu stuff cracks me up sometimes:

A two pack was $15 over at Weapons Grade Waifus.  Sorry to disappoint you, but it looks like they are sold out in all colors.

I’m thinking I need to collab with this guy, on some pulls looking like Kirkland brand tighty-whiteys with a streak mark on them. I jokingly also mentioned this on twitter and Instagram, and he replied:

The thought was nice, but without even checking, I’m 100% sure Magpul must have a patent on their eponymous product considering that’s essentially what vaulted them into being the company they are today. I wouldn’t tread on anyones intellectual property like that, plus I specifically love Magpul too much. Now if Magpul themselves wanted to do a limited edition, and give me and Weapons Grade Waifus a slice of the pie, I definitely would not complain.

  • Giffords Anti-Gun Organization Rates States On Their Gun Laws

In case you’re getting tired of living somewhere with “the best gun laws”:

You might want to look into the states with the worst gun laws according to them.  I’d take this all with a grain of salt though, I couldn’t easily see where they got their numbers from.  Regardless, if they aren’t going to break the numbers down into categories it makes me really not even care.  So in Oregon for instance (Ranked #14 for best gun laws) there were 12.1 gun deaths per 100k people.  Ok so?  How many of these were justified?  How many of these were done by criminals? How many were accidental?  How many were suicides?  How many are as a result of police officers doing their job? etc… Those are all extremely important questions, because without having the answers those rankings are working with inflated numbers and are basically useless. We run into this type of thing time and time again with anti-gun groups.

  • Mama Mia Larry Vuittion Brings Out The Italian Street Sweeper

    Niiiiiiiiiiiiice:

It’s 9mm, auto, two triggers (one auto), up to 40 round extendo box magazines, and even has the airholes like the TEC9.  Too cool.  Oh man that wood is nice too.

Do they call this thing the Italian Street Sweeper?  Luigi’s Typewriter at least?  If not, the Italians are really just getting the sauce wrong.

Thoughts? I like that Rolex Explorer II of Larry’s too.
