This is the first magazine fed upper I’ve ever seen in such a large caliber!

Available for preorder ($2198) with a $500 deposit.
You can choose from the following calibers: .50 BMG, .338 Lapua or .416 Barrett
Scheduled to be released for Christmas this year.
My concern with these large caliber uppers is, can a aluminum AR-15 lower which is meant for .223/5.56 really handle the repeated recoil of a .50 BMG / .338 Lapua / .416 Barrett?
I’m sure they have done their due diligence and shot thousands of rounds through systems like these, and then magnetic particle inspected the lower… but that data never seems to be released.
It’s a shame that the ammo you would need to feed this thing is so pricey!

Looking to purchase a Barrett 416 Upper. How do I do it. Thank you, Pete
What part of magnetic and aluminum makes sense to you?
You know I love these giant calibers as much as the next guy, but wouldn’t it be a great idea to make a 308 bolt action upper for an AR-15 that takes 308 pmags that are side fed.
