Slo-mo king Richard Ryan HK417s the crap out of it:
That watch looks like such a gimmick. I’ll never stop wearing mechanical watches and make the jump to something techie like this!
2:13 – Holy… that direct hit!
Thoughts? Oh yea and this is also where some of you guys complain that your sick of seeing him shoot expensive things :P

*never* wear a display watch over an automatic? Style is about variety man…it’s like saying you’d never wear sneakers because boots are better. I’ve got a casio calculator watch and it fits in my rotation the same as my mechanicals.
I disagree. If digital watches were actually stylish I’d consider it… but wearing that over my Rolex would be like opting to drive a honda civic over a Rolls Royce Wraith.
I agree, although I would probably never buy a Rolex either, because I tend to inadvertently beat up and scratch my watches. I would never buy a Galaxy Gear for a few reasons:
1. It’s a year-late ripoff of the Pebble watch
2. It’s grossly overpriced for what is effectively a throwaway in two years trinket
3. Battery life blows versus a quartz watch (5+ years) or a mechanical (no battery). My watch is ready to tell time 24/7 for years and years without ever needing to be charged, and I rely on that dependability.
4. Men’s watches are supposed to have some classic style, not be a butt ugly rectangle bolted to your wrist.
That’s a lot of wobble out of that scope and mount in slow-mo. I know everything moves around a little, but damn.
I wouldn’t get one of these because, as you can see in the slo-mo video, it’s filled with sand.
LOL yea good call
Richard reminds me of this weirdo I work with that got kicked out of the Navy for starting an electrical fire inside a Nuclear sub. True story.
LOL you just can’t make stuff like that up.
I got one Samsung Gear and it’s just great! But how can I change its face to ROLEX?
