Vice will be reporting on Arts in the Armed Forces:
Bringing thought-provoking and impactful contemporary theater to US soldiers. That’s the mission of Arts in the Armed Forces, a non-profit organization started by Marine-turned-actor Adam Driver (Girls, Star Wars: The Force Awakens). VICE News followed Driver and his fellow actors (including Joanne Tucker, Natasha Lyonne, Eric Bogosian, Peter Scolari, Sasheer Zamata, and many more) as they performed for military audiences in the US and overseas who more accustomed to visits by country cover bands and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.
0:28 – She was EXCELLENT in OITNB (Orange Is The New Black). I did NOT like the latest season of that show though… very disappointing.
Interesting. Well as long as military members are entertained by this, and it takes their minds off their most likely non-ideal situation overseas then I say great! If you don’t like it I’m assuming you don’t have to go. Maybe that’s not how the military works though? Do you get told to go watch this and have “mandatory fun” even if you don’t want to? haha
