Pay attention:
The GunBox looks legit. I am planning on getting one some day once the RF version isn’t just vaporware. “It doesn’t ever track where your gun is, but you can track it” sure… sure…. I’d be willing to put money on the fact that if an alphabet agency were to contact gunbox and request coordinates, they would be able to cough them up in 2 seconds (for better or for worse of course depending on the situation).
At least the owner of the company admits it’s a gun “box” not a gun “safe”. Looks simple as hell to break into if a person had more than like 30 seconds worth of time and a few tools.
New drinking game alert: Take a shot every time LAV points, give thumbs up, or calls someone “brother”.
I’m a bit disappointed that LAV slowed the speed of this show of his down from the exciting episode 1, to this 2nd episode which was obviously one big paid for advertisement.

I’m glad we can poke fun of LAV and his show here. Do that over at SSD and the mod with reach through the computer and choke slam you while LAV is saying, “Get him, brother.”
Looks like you can get it open with 2 paper clips, but clearly “not a safe”. The GPS is a cool feature if not for asshole feds. Could be made of NOT aluminum, costs enough.
Too many things to fail. I prefer the steel gun boxes with 5 button mechanical lock myself.
I think you’re correct, a steel box with the five button code is a better way to go.
I can’t see paying top dollar for something you’re able to open in the garage on the way out the door.
I have a “GunBox”. I have it screwed down and cable locked via a kensington lock to the wall. The alarm works very well if moved (which is very hard to do screwed down and locked) it does send a text to my iphone/iPad when moved. The tracking works only if its moved 100 meters from the home source. So you can move it around your house without the tracking being activated and you can turn it off if you want. Yes it can be opened with tools but what can’t. I have three other biometric gun safes and the GunBox opens with the least amount of tries because of the wrist band. The finger works like the others sometimes its easier than others. It all depends on how humid your skin is. Thats why I chose either the wrist band or finger not both…
Since I was 4 I had access to guns because my dad thought it was prudent to teach me how to defend myself even at a young age when other options like fighting were out of the question.
You can either spend 300 dollars on this gadget to keep your idiot children sort of safe from themselves and to fear guns, or you can uh “parent” them a bit and spend the money teaching them how to use guns and be really safe in doing so.
We are not impressed. Send it to Schuyler Towne and Deviant Ollam, the physical access gurus. They’ll find the flaws.
