Lightweight and compact way to carry around 180 rounds:
$25 from Grey Ghost Gear.
Simple, effective, inexpensive… I like that.
You can check out the review over at Gear Whores Anonymous.
Thoughts? Would operate with? Perhaps would open carry troll with? haha

6×30 = 180
Haha thanks. I don’t know what I was thinking besides the fact I wrote that at 330AM
Unless he means 180 x 2 = 360?
Haha whoops no I was just being derpy. I corrected it though thanks.
Maths is hard.
Apparently. I corrected it, thanks Gregory :P
Just tried to buy one on the damn website and the price is wrong and is $50 instead of #25.
What the heck… $49.98 once added to the cart… You’re right. Annoying you’ll have to email them but hopefully $25 is the actual price.
Hey, I’m just glad I *never* do that myself!
If you are a nancy with an AR!
*trollface*
So I wonder if these folks have actually tested the bandoleer with loaded mags to see if it can handle the weight?
Caveat Emptor: I have one. They are fine for the range (actually great) but not if you’re moving a lot. I have had full mags shift around considerably, and I wouldn’t trust the retention in a flat out run.
For a concealed or low profile rig they are also great. A windbreak over the top and you’d never know they were there. If I needed compact, concealable firepower in a vehicle for get-home scenario, this and an AR pistol might do the trick.
I’d rock it. And conceal carry my AR pistol.
and we love you for it. But remember my boy…
Never Think You’re KWIKRNU
Never Go Full Embody
Can you use those Surefire 100 rounders in it (or 60 rounders if you aren’t operator enough). But it is tempting to put coupled up mags in it.
26 + 6 = 1
I know I’m commenting late in the game but it’s been a while since I’ve been able to catch up.
I think this is a horrible idea, except if you need a place to hang your mags on the wall of your gun closet to save space. For moving or running, they’re going to make an awful racket and probably slip out in the process.
IMO this isn’t for using as a “rig.” It’s for grab and go with your truck gun or something similar. If I have to go for my rifle, I don’t have time to stand there and kit up.
