The Second Amendment is Outdated

MrColionNoir takes it down 3 buttons, and spits that 2A flava in our ears:

MrColionNoir-Defend-Freedom-Tshirt-ENDOPeople be like RKBA ROFL.

It would be ironic if everyone who thinks the 2nd Amendment is outdated gets a taste of police response time to a serious incident where guns are needed.  Although, even that doesn’t help a lot of them… Take Colin “The Professional Victim” Goddard for example.

Thoughts?

  1. Would be nice to see smart gun folks start talking about the assumed right to keep and bear arms that exists and existed BEFORE the 2A was even thought of. THe 2A does not give you a right, it references a pre-existing right and adds caveats like how it applies to the need for the militia to be well regulated, and that it can’t be infringed. Just like the 1st, 4th, and 5th do. The right to arms is a natural right you have equal to being able to voice consent, worship how and what you will, or to be secure in your home with your personal property and person, or as much as you have a right to not be forced to answer for yourself.

    1. Thanks for volunteering! I hope you’re photogenic; those youtube posters can be so cruel.

  2. Celebs think the 2nd Amendment is outdated. Well, the gov’t thinks the 1st and 4th are outdated, too. As soon as these ass hats get a court to rule that something isn’t protected by the constitution because the founding fathers couldn’t have anticipated modern weapons technology, then the precedent will be set and the dominos will fall.

The founding fathers couldn’t have foreseen the internet, cellphones, digital medical records, or social media. It won’t be long before those rights disappear because “the founding fathers never could have predicted ______”. And of course, the first domino to fall will be the 2nd. Followed quickly by the 1st and 4th. Heck, the 4th is pretty non-existent now.

Oh well. If the government controls free speech and media, perhaps I won’t have to listen to Bill Maher’s sneering nasal voice. One hopes a police state would at least spare me that indignity.

With my luck, though, he’d become a government shill spouting state run propaganda: “We were always at war with Eastasia.”

  3. Hat-tip to you Colion. That was one of the best presentations I’ve ever seen validating the right of Self-Defense/Preservation. Keep up the good work.
