Warren Ellis reimagines New York City as a puzzle with the most dangerous pieces of all: GUNS.
After a shootout claims the life of his partner in a condemned tenement building on Pearl Street, Detective John Tallow unwittingly stumbles across an apartment stacked high with guns. When examined, each weapon leads to a different, previously unsolved murder. Someone has been killing people for twenty years or more and storing the weapons together for some inexplicable purpose.
This was pre-7-round-derp… so in other words a VERY scandalous room. Sounds like there may even be assault rifles in there, likely with shoulder things that go up too!
Neat video… sounds like an interesting book too:
How many of you watching it were thinking “Sounds like my gun room!”? hahah
I knew I recognized the narrators voice… Wil Wheaton!
Pick up a copy for $16 over at Amazon if you’re interested.

Is that Will Wheaton doing the voiceover?
Oh, now that you mention it, I see that you mentioned that.
a gun church? sounds like a place to be!
Warren Ellis was one of my favorite writers when I was still into comics. I might actually pick this up.
Ugh, I read crooked little vein, if I ever met the author I would have to strongly resist the urge to knock his teeth out and demand the afternoon I spent reading that back. This is a guy who thinks he is smart, especially about gun things, but his homework is full of plot holes big enough to drive a rat infested bus through.
Kind of reminds me of the historical tradition of “arming the manor.” You can see this in the lobby of the Governor’s Mansion in Colonial Williamsburg.

So how is the TN Ren Fest?
Dunno, not my pic. Just used the best photo I could find for the “Colonial Williamsburg Governor’s Mansion” in Google Image search.
Not a problem.
While I’m not an SCA member they have some great ideas.
