I don’t even have kids, and I want one. I like the MOLLE webbing on the front in the pic on the left so a person could add a bottle pouch, and maybe another couple pouches for snacks. I think one of the best things about having a baby would be you have an excuse to buy and eat piles of arrowroot cookies. Come to think of it I should just buy a box next time i’m at Costco anyway.
The tactical baby carriers will be available soon from Mayflower (Warning: website fail.. sound plays by default). I have no idea what the price will be.
Thoughts?

Gonna talk my wife into another kid just to get one of these. lol
Damn, I hope they’ll be able to ship it before my daughter is too old…
That’s PALS webbing.
Lol but nobody knows that. Even manufacturers call it MOLLE webbing half the time.
I know they do. But the media consistently uses “clip” instead of “magazine,” and if that’s such an egregious error…
How can a newb like me tell the difference? What should I look for?
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is the 1″x1″ latice work webbing design. MOLLE (MOdular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) was the first real system to integrate it. so MOLLE webbing IS PALS webbing, MOLLE webbing isn’t a thing.
I always felt like an ass wearing the baby Bjorn, this will be perfect for the next baby!
i emailed them the other day and they said price was 150. i thought it sounded like a good deal. i told my pregnant wife and she told me the most expensive baby carriers aren’t that expensive. who knew. i guess paying 65 for a med pouch has conditioned my mindset.
Yeah ouch.
Puts them out of my price range. I can’t afford that, I have a kid.
The MOLLE webbing makes it worth it!
Needs a dump pouch… for the dump.
I’m not sure if people know this, but most people in the military with any social skills do their best to NOT look military when not at work. The base decal on their car is quite enough. Also have a general disgust for anything “tactical” that isnt actually tactical. For the ones who do, you can usually be sure they are the type who dont play with guns for a living.
“Oh shit, look at the guy in the 7.62 moto shirt, must be supply admin.”
where were these when my kids were little? I don’t need it now and I already have 7 kids, don’t think I want anymore even for a cool carrier……
Does anyone know what the carrier on the left is?
