Crazy slingshot guy Joerg Sprave gives it a go:
Pepper spray from old chili powder, bolas from cat food cans and batteries, and even a full blown crossbow from a broom handle and old kitchen gloves.
The video is a bit longer and slower than some of his others… but still interesting to see what he can do.
I still prefer firearms, but getting hit with any one of those would obviously hurt and/or incapacitate a person.
Thoughts?

Weaponized trash. Sounds like my ex.
hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!
+1 !
Torn/used jeans and a pair of gloves from the garbage? He is a braver man than I when it comes to bringing home potential hazmat items.
Joerg goes Green!
For that matter, mixing salt, black pepper (regular table pepper) and any type oil together and getting it in someone’s eyes or facial area would probably incapacitate most people for at least a few minutes.
Some other common, or slightly uncommon, ingredients around a lot of houses can easily be made into minor to major incapacitants or threats. In no particular order — tinfoil, ammonia, cold packs, cayenne pepper, bleach, gasoline, fire starter bars, dish soap or hand cleaning gels, nail guns, tube socks, Bic lighters, Zippo lighters, cigarettes, bug spray, knives in the kitchen, and match packs.
Any of these items mixed or matching could put someone down or kill them. Controlling guns is not the answer. A gun is a tool, it has no motive.
