Look out school bullies… there’s a new line of defense available for nerds:
Joerg Sprave is so awesome. I’m really surprised he hasn’t quite his day job yet and made these things full time. If he was able to get the design a bit more polished, and more conducive to injection molding he would be able to sell millions of them. What kid wouldn’t want a gun like that? I suppose it would be the parents that would be the issue…
Towards the end when he glued the arrow field top to the pencil… that was awesome.

OMG I MUST HAVE ONE! Scale it up a bit to take crossbow bolts and it’d
be the perfetct “Mad Max” toy. This guys is a genius. Self taught? An engineer
by trade?
If I ever make a zombie movie, Joerg is going to have a role in it.
Awesome! I need some plans so I can build one.
Now all the schools and colleges that don’t allow students and teachers to carry a self defense firearm can now have a defense against an active shooter other than throwing books. We need a more concealable version though, to fit in a back pack.
Already banned in New York and California… :(
Good thing it can’t hold more than 10 pencils, wouldn’t want anyone coming after his high-capacity assault pencil-repeater! It looks like it already has a muzzle device.
I wonder if he added a shoulder thing that goes up if he could bring his group size down…
Very cool. That is a centuries-old design of a very old crossbow. I want to say it was Chinese in origin. Pretty much the same all the way to the pump action and box mag, believe it or not.
Sprave is pretty incredible. Some of his stuff is crazy and amazing.
When he sharpened the pencil I lost it… I love this guy!!
Switch out the pencils for ash wood — he might get a contract from Buffy and her fellow vampire slayers.
I always love Joerg Sprave’s videos. He does some awesome stuff, and makes really fun toys, but the best part is him. You can just tell he loves what he does.
I don’t quite get it why would quit your quiet day job in Kuwait… pun intended.
‘Scuse me, f-ed up meself. Missing a “you” there.
On topic: kinda reminds me of the crossbow seen in “From Dusk Till Dawn”.
