This guy knows how to film a gun being fired:
Make sure to check out his YouTube channel. He’s got several more videos, and they are all as good of quality.
I’m guessing he’s recording sound separately because the quality of it is damn good as well.
If you don’t watch the vids in 1080p with your system cranked to 11 you are doing yourself a disservice.
Even his mag changes are Operator as &@#* (for the most part.. bit of a fumble after that surefire one).

See the barrel turning red as the surefire mag finishes up then with that 30 rounder firing? Swwwweeeeet!
gas tube, not barrel.
Did you see that first mag?! Was that a quad stack?
Yes! It was the Surefire 60 rounder – https://www.everydaynodaysoff.com/2010/12/06/surefire-60-and-100-round-ar-15-m16-box-style-magazines/
An A grade video indeed! Great quality and sound.
Top notch video.
However, I’ve never seen someone holding his rifle (or his Glock, cf 2nd vid.) this way before. Is this a tip to keep some accuracy while shooting full auto? Is it just him trying to be the Björn Borg of shooters?
Sorry it the question is silly…
maybe only in dozen of hours of Magpul dynamics vids… :)
Though it’s important to note that Magpul didn’t invent it, and didn’t claim to. It’s been around a while. SSDSurf explains the history on it:

He’s inarticulate, but damn he knows his shit.
The rifle is called thumb over bore. It’s used to keep the gun controlled under full auto. As for the pistol I’ve never seen that grip before…it looks painful.
Great video.
The dude can film a gun being shot, but can he shoot accurately in combat? Who is he? What’s his back ground? Looking good only goes so far.
Been looking at his videos, and from the looks of it, he does shoot competition. See his earlier ones. I’m guessing the magdump was for our amusement.
And by Lord it amuses me so.
What is that sideways twist he gives the gun before he drops the mags?
Chamber observation to ensure that the weapon was indeed empty and not malfunctioning. Also helps to “sling” the magazine out of the magazine well.
All shooty-shooty, no talky-talky…and he runs the gun like a boss. I approve.
Very Magpul-esque good quality audio and video. Just shows the techniques used work pretty well in terms of recoil management don’t really need anything too fancy to shot well. However I’d like to see the results after the shooting has stopped.
That grip on the glock, how is he not touching the slide as it cycles? I understand the concept of gripping high on the frame, but he can’t possibly be applying any pressure with those thumbs. Oh well, as longs as the bullets go where they are supposed to go, that’s all that matters.
He explains it in the uploader comments. It just doesn’t bite him iirc.
I’d love to know who this guy is. With that kind technique, I’m betting he’s a top competitor somewhere.
He’s a skinny Travis Haley in appearance and weapons manipulation for the most part.
Awesome vid!
Just cranked it up at home… Pretty sure the neighbors felt it!
This guy is good. Is he the same guy who did the vids for Magpul?

Been subscribed to this guy for a while now, and he NEVER dissapoints.

There’s one vid he has that opens with a .50 cal going off. I unknowingly watched that video with my speakers at full blast…nearly blew my house away, but dear god, was it epic.
