According to Paul Barrett’s book Glock: Rise of America’s Gun, the set armorer practically begged the director to amend the grossly incorrect dialog, but they just wouldn’t listen.

You’ve never seen the “Die Hard” series? How do you get internet service at your home, under a rock?
nice quote! I always wondered where they came up with “porcelain”.
Josh
They must have just really wanted to sound stupid. Or maybe one of the writers had heard about high end knife blades being made of ceramic materials, high performance clutches with ceramic plates, or brake rotors on high performance cars being made from ceramics and though, “porcelain is a ceramic, ergo, it must be extremely durable,” having never seen what happens if when you drop a porcelain toilet or sink onto a hard surface!
Aaron kindly mentioned my forthcoming book and the light it sheds on Hollywood flubs concerning the Glock. GLOCK: The Rise of America’s Gun tells the entire history of the gun, the man who invented it, and how it became so popular and influential in the United States. The book is out Jan 10, 2012, from Crown Publishing. It is available now for pre-order (and at a big discount) on Amazon.com. More info available here. Thanks, Aaron. — Paul Barrett @GlockTheBook

Damn looks like you need to sign up for an account :/
I did… I’ll email you some of the better signs I made (PDFs) about seven years ago when I first found the sign generator site.
Glock 7?
It’s a porcelain gun made in Germany that doesn’t show up on your airport metal detectors and costs more than you make in a month.
You’d be surprised what I make in a month…
and it shoots ceramic bullets that are invisible to xray machines.
Never mind, I didnt realize that was from a movie (somone should have fact checked that script)
