Worth watching even if you hate paintball:
The video game overlays were more distracting to me than anything.
Dubstep + slow motion seems to be the formula lately.

Those shots were very very very obviously staged, and the ‘stars’ had guns that were literally 3-5 times the value of the gun the extras were using. It was the equivalent of watching seal team 6 with SCARs take on rural Iowa with lever action rifles. Also, a dog on a live field? I hope the SPCA doesn’t get a hold of this…
I will say the choreography and the camera work was very well done.
Of course it’s staged! I would have thought that was blatantly and overwhelmingly obvious?
That level of production probably took multiple cameras, about a week of shooting and double that in editing…
Well yes its staged but they could have make the shots at least plausible. Have you ever watched an action scene in a movie where the main character does some ridiculous move and takes out 3 guys at once and the only thing you can think is “Wow he should have been shot like 300 times at this point”? That was basically every scene in that clip. At one point the dude takes out 3 people without a freaking hopper on his gun!

He used the force.
Brings back memories of when I used to do tournament speedball. Good times. Sure this was staged, but it was enjoyable in an over the top action movie sort of way.
Anyone else notice the barrel flex on the first shot of the movie? Didnt think they would have enough oomph to do that…
Felt a bit like Gamer paintball… not that there is anything wrong with that, apart from the movie being… well… what it was.
