Make sure you watch it in 720P
This video is from the same guy I blogged about a few days ago regarding Fake Guns And Video Editing. Make sure you watch the behind the scenes footage to see how to do it.
Pretty awesome stuff, I want to give light painting a try.

I took a stab at light painting. Decided I wasn’t very good at it. My sister, however, is majoring in art. I made her some light “pens” for Christmas. There are some instructions somewhere on the internet that I got the idea from. Basically I just took some clear vinyl tubing and put an LED inside of it. You can get a lot of the small button batteries by prying open Energizer A23 batteries and save something like $40. Used a push-button switch to control when the LED lit up. They worked rather nicely (would have been better if I hadn’t been so horrible at soldering).
I could recommend something like that if you’re interested in light painting. I don’t know what to set the exposure at, though. Not too familiar with long-exposure low-aperture camera settings.
Sounds awesome… I gotta try that Aleksandr. Good tip on breaking down the bigger battery into little ones to use for the LEDs.
