Saw this picture a while back:
I knew it was only a matter of time before It would surface as a tattoo:
Some people are pretty hardcore. I could never pull that off, even if I could somehow get over the whole it’s with you FOREVER thing.
I didn’t think people from Florida really had much of an accent, that they would pronounce it “Flawda” but who knows.
hehe classic that it’s a DEAGLE in the pic too.

I don’t even know where to start with this one. I hate Florida almost as much as I hate the Desert Eagle. At least the pistol will be well oiled down there I guess.
What’s wrong with the Desert Eagle? I’ve owned one for years and sometimes CCW it and it’s been nothing but amazing. I’ve had zero reliability issues, zero FTF, and not one bad thing to say about it. I find most people who criticize them have never owned one, much less shot one for a few range sessions.
Which Desert Eagle do you CC? Most of those are awful heavy. I guess you’d get used to it though, just like any other gun.
I DO cc the .50ae in matte black. I bought it back in 2004 and yes it’s heavy! Just like you said though, you do get used to the extra weight, and with a proper holster (custom made by a local leathersmith) you won’t notice it. I found that if your belt is a little to loose you’ll notice the weight more. I know ALOT of people think they are big “showy” guns and I can’t stand hearing that from non-owners. I carry 3 extra mags, one in each side pockets, left rear pocket, as well as a knife (cheapy) and my keys and cell phone. It certainly can be done, and I love it. I’ve carried every day this week and don’t feel tired or lop-sided. I stand 6′ 1″ weight 290lbs. I only ask that people who haven’t owned one, tried it, or whatever don’t knock it. It’s very nice and the few others who CC theirs all agree 100%
Awesome, that is a lot of firepower! Glad to hear it’s working out well for you. .50AE is a hell of a caliber.
Northern Florida has a very thick southern accent.
