I was always more of an Adobe Photoshop guy. I find MS paint awkward at best. It’s obvious by the video that the interface and tools are not limiting to some people.
That guy should seriously get a 3D design program such as Dassault Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor and apply those skills to 3D modeling.
Check out his other MS paint gun videos on his YouTube page – HERE

Lets not forget Google Sketchup.. its free, as opposed to the very high (and worth it) cost of Autodesk products.
I briefly tried sketchup when it came out. For a free tool it does work pretty well!
I’ve used the Pro (i.e. expensive) version of Sketchup and the only thing I really noticed (from my limited use of it) that was handy was the ability to import and export Autocad drawings (and others too I’m sure, I have Autocad also though, so I noticed that). Other than that, it’s really pretty neat what you get out of the free version. I’ve noticed it used a lot for architectural drawings. If you’re designing a cabin in the woods to retreat to when they come for your guns, Sketchup might be a handy tool to use to help design and visualize it!
I agree that Sketchup would have been cool. At least if he was going to do a line drawing as opposed to something 3D he it would have worked much better to use Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw; at least the result would be a scalable vector file, not a bitmap. I have seen some other videos of people using Paint to actually “paint,” as opposed to draw, pictures. It really is amazing what some people can do with such a simple program. Kind of reminds me of those amazingly intricate drawings that people used to do with the Etch A Sketch.
Yea, Illustrator would have been a good choice.
What’s with the other blogs just copying your posts and not giving you credit? I saw this 2 other places today after yours posted last night. Coincidence?
I hardly think its a coincidence considering both of those guys follow my RSS feed. I think its more of a “I don’t want to give everyday, no days off credit for a post every day and drive away my own readers”.
I thought I was the only person that noticed :P
