In this remake, the invasion is from the Chinese (not the Russians like in the original).

It’s being filmed right now in Michigan, in the city’s of Pontiac and Royal Oak and others.  YouTube user geekincognito has TONS of footage on his page of the sets, props, and filming you should check out!
