I was talking about the real guy. They just shoehorned him entirely into the game.
the story I got was the developers got pissed off about the movie “blackhawk down”, where the exploits of several people where combined into one, fictional character played by that sizemore guy. Less actors, less expense, I guess.
They thank the actual guy in the credits for helping with the game.
also, mad props for being so polite to gamers. Its not often people treat game developers as something other than nerds.

It wouldn’t appear you were talking about the real person. “AFO Wolfpack”? That seems to be a figment of the game developers’ imaginations. “Lightly affiliated with the US Army”? No. I think being an active duty member of a special forces group (or CAG; although I don’t think his picture would have been allowed to be published if that were the case) is more than a “light affiliation.” “Known to hunt deer with an M110”? Those pictures of the real person “Cowboy” appeared in Life Magazine back at the beginning of the war in Afghanistan; the M110 wasn’t fielded until what, 2007?
So, how is it that you figure any of what you said is talking about the actual person?

I wonder if he gets any royalties?

I’m not sure that he does. Being in the military makes you a “public persona”, IIRC. I hope they at least got his permission.
Operationally Operative Operations being Operated by Operating Operators.
Is that really cowboy in the picture?
Who is this “cowboy” guy? All I know is he looks like a complete badass.
“dusty”. alabama country boy, and member of AFO WOLFPACK, and lightly affiliated with the US army.
Known to deer hunt with an M110.
also CLASSIFIED his CLASSIFIED at the end of the CLASSIFIED mission, and is permanently CLASSIFIED.
No, I think he’s interested in who the actual person is, not some game persona made up by nerds who spend too much time in front of a Playstation.
