The Porcelain Pistols are replicas of James Bond’s Walther PPK and its contemporary sister, the P99,with friendly permission of Carl Walther Inc.The fragile weapon, hand-painted in the style of classic tableware motifs, liesnext to your coffee and cake, asking to be picked up. Its coolness andcomfortable grip increase the qualms of the user, leaving him in a quandary between the pleasure of luxury and violence.

Unfortunately the artist didn’t work the ubiquitous “Glock 7” into the project. My guess is that she was probably paid off by the TSA because it would evade their metal detectors.

Best Glock 7 reference ever (cost more than I make in a month :0)
As Hyacinth would say: That is a well appointed Royal Doulton, with the hand-painted periwinkles.
Very interesting art piece on its own. As a matter of fact the author’s “justification/explanation” kind of cheapens it. I thought that was sort of integral to art, is that the piece speaks for itself….
Anyway, certainly an awesome addition to the china cabinet.
Ah yes the Walther PPK — contemporary to the P99 in the same way the Ford Model T is contemporary with the Ford Focus.
That’s a very odd piece of art, and besides that, the hammer is backwards.
