Very interesting little documentary.  haha that main guy (Charles Houser) seems like a real character.  What an absolutely nightmare of a place with all that paper.  At 5:48 I found it interesting when he said they scan the 4473’s into PDF, but then convert them to .jpg so they aren’t searchable and people wont complain about the system’s potential for mass confiscations.  I mean… ok, but it’s not like they couldn’t run OCR on digital files at that point if they wanted to; it’s not like the OCR needs to be ran when the paper document is scanned in.
