The homies over at The Firearm Blog put up a cool video:
Since TFB is running summary RSS (*shakes fist* summary is the devils tool), rather than full RSS I almost didn’t even click through when I was browsing my feed. I’m glad I did though, because the video was good PLUS Alex is even wearing an old school ENDO Apparel shirt! That’s the Pictogram Fire Selector Switch shirt. There’s actually only small & medium of that and the black version left. Take 50% off that design for the next couple days using code PICTOME if you’re interested. Also guys, I can’t stress enough, sign up for the ENDO Apparel mailing list. I am announcing exclusive deals constantly through that list (twice a week usually), and I am NOT talking about them on the blog normally. There will be another one tomorrow sometime. You’re welcome to use multiple discount codes in combo with one another currently, you just have to email me after you place the order though so I can refund the proper amount because the system will only accept one discount code.
On another note, damn TFB is fancy with their white board and their grand round table. Flash to me in my underwear eating blueberries alone in the dark in front of the glow of two 27″ iMacs.
Did you guess them all? I got 3 of them so I don’t suck that bad I suppose.

I don’t know what it is about their videos that just irks me. I love their blog, but the videos are poorly executed/vapid. Alex looks like some smug gun snob and his lack of charisma on video only reinforces that perception. His ginger friend looks like the kid who perpetually got picked on in grade school for no reason other than existing. Though, I’m sure they’re nice people in reality :D
Came here to say this, more or less. ^
Alex is a smug snob. He’s the child of an ultra-wealthy Texas rental car/truck magnate (david Capps). He grew up being given everything he ever desired. After he got a basically worthless history degree, he went right to work for dad at the family business. He has no clue what it’s like to have to earn anything. He’s doesn’t know the meaning of “eating shit” and “shutting his mouth” to keep a job and earn a living. These are major flaws for Alex. You see, people only associate with Alex for his money, or should I say the money of his family. He doesn’t and never will earn anyone’s respect or loyalty. Given the time he’s putting into TFB and the videos, his dad has him working in what the mob liked to call a “no show” or “no work” job.
Years ago this little prick would do his best to troll 4chan, and he was basically ignored until he went away. You should ignore him too. Don’t watch the videos, don’t click on them, don’t share them. TFB will get tired of his shit and he’ll go away from there.
I see or hear this type of comment various places every now and then. I fail to see why a person needs to “have it rough” in order to gain respect. Some people will always have it better and easier than others because of family money, good looks, a special talent etc… In my opinion it’s up to the people who don’t have the life they want to just work hard for it. I haven’t seen Alex make a video about how much money his family has and how that equates to him being better than us. Until then, I have no reason at all to dislike the guy.
As time goes on, you will start to dislike him. It’s a pattern that follows Alex. It’s not about having it rough. Alex stands on his father’s success as if it’s his own success. The only thing Alex has done is hit the genetic lottery. He’s never taken a risk where failure had consequences. He’s never built anything of his own from scratch. Everything he has or has done has been because dad funded him or provided a fail proof safety net. That doesn’t stop him from endless bragging about the things daddy bought him.
My problem is solely with his smug prick attitude. He was so sheltered and removed from society that he doesn’t know how to behave and act. I guess that happens when you grow up being gates and hedges.
You should go back and read the drama he caused on TFB when he wrote about Hollis v. Holder and how his “portfolio” is made up by sizeable investments in dozens of full auto firearms. I think it will be eye opening for you. The comments were heavily moderated before being closed and a apology published by TFB and Alex forced into an apology . The kid lied, most of his “portfolio” is low value SOT stuff he manufactured and can’t transfer. You’ll see his smug attitude on display there. Please, do read it and the comments.

Mike, I agree with your comment. However, meet this guy personally and you will change your mind. This comment string is telling because I have no idea who “the Dude” or “Bro Ham” are, but they have both independently (assuming they aren’t the same person) stated the *exact* thing that I thought once I got to know the guy. He’s a total brat, for real. It isn’t about his having money or coming form a moneyed family, it’s really about the type of person he is.
Have we met?
Wow, I woke up this morning, saw my face and was very surprised! Thanks for the feature Mike.
By the way you will notice that I am wearing an ENDO shirt in most videos. They are unusually comfortable :)
Cool I’ll check them out, thanks again! Please send the word up to Lucky Gunner HQ that “Summary RSS is the devil’s tool” :P
I think that might be the first time I have been described in that manner. Interesting.
The Mauser stumped me and for the MP5 I guessed “Uzi pf Mac bolt going home”. So close-ish.
4/5 for me. Didn’t get that Mauser…
Missed the mauser too. and i said it was either an ar being charged, or a handgun slide of some sort. hk slap was my fav.
