Veyes Flip-Up Sunglasses For Celibacy And UV Protection

No… just no:

First off, I swear I saw this same “idea” numerous times throughout my childhood and even laughed at it back then.  Apparently it’s something “new” though, which people are willing to throw money at.  $30 minimum according to their Kickstarter (naturally) campaign.  It doesn’t look promising though seeing as they are less than 1/4 of the way to their $45,000 goal with only 17 days left.

I always find it interesting that there is a large percentage of the population that literally gives ZERO shits about how they look.  Either that, or they actually think these flip-up glasses look good… which is equally as interesting and puzzling.

Notch-HatI don’t know what’s worse, this or the Notch hat.  If you’re truly a next-level troll you can always clip these on your notch hat, and wear an extra pair of sunglasses just to block out the haters.

Veyes-Flip-SunglassesI don’t know about you guys, but I’ve never felt wearing sunglasses that much of an inconvenience that I was like “Oh I wish these had no arms on them, and were attached to a hat with a complicated flip-up gizmo so I could look short bus.”

Gotta save the environment tactically and just use these flipups on the notch! :P

  4. I’m really not understanding why you’d be flipping them up on an active range. Notch hat for the win.

I really see no problem with this, I don’t get the hate. This is actually really useful for us wearing regular glasses.

I actually like the Notch hat though.

haha seems like a lot of people do! Notch loves that I make fun of them constantly, because it turns into sales. We might do a giveaway at some point in the future!

  7. Baseball players, particularly outfielders, wear glasses similar to these all the time. Not a bad idea.

  8. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad idea. Wearing over the ear muffs with standard glasses is cumbersome at best.

For those of us with weird shaped heads I gotta tell you the NOTCH hat seems legit. No matter how much you haters gonna hate. Sunglasses don’t fit right on my weird shaped ears, hats don’t fit right on my goofy head… I’d try the NOTCH hat in a second bro.

Have you ever worn ear pro over glasses for extended periods of time? I took a two day class last weekend and was continuously adjusting my ear pro because it was crushing my glasses into the sides of my skull. Super uncomfortable. I could totally see how this would help with that. I don’t see this as some “tacticool” absurdity and more of something that could actually help a lot of people.

Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking would be a perfect usage. This is probably the only time I’d use them, though. Probably healthier than wolfing down Tylenol every 4 hours, too.
