These are the “Try Guys” from Buzz Feed. See their trip to the range:
I’m not saying that liking guns is a true test of masculinity or being straight / gay… but if you let all 4 of those guys talk for 30 seconds on any topic, I guarantee I could have told you who would either like or tolerate guns (that one guy who said he shot at his bachelor party) because he is the only one that didn’t seem like a scared-of-life little bitch.
MILITARY GRADE WEAPONS!
2:16 – Jeeze, finger off the trigger guys. No wonder ranges are all shot to hell. That was bad, and could have been worse.
4:03 – So the “takeaway” for that one guy was – You play golf at a golf course… you shoot guns at a gun range. *smh* whatever bro.
4:12 – Asian guy admits he’s trying to compensate for something.
4:17 – Alright this guy gets it… guns are fun. He’s not a killer now or anything, he’s just a guy that knows that pulling a trigger and experiencing it all is fun.
4:21 – “It changed me. I don’t think I’m as pro-gun as I used to be” <—- WHATTTTT? Well that’s an unexpected twist. Then he goes on to say “An accident is bound to happen”
Thoughts?

Holy shit. …the amount of complete bullshit stuffed into this short vid is mindboggling. Not a man among them. I would have kicked them the fuck out of the range.
These hipsters should try any one of the following: maning up, testosterone, getting a man card, learning how to use a chainsaw, drivbg a pickup….
Nice to see you’re not open to bringing more people into supporting guns.
Is that what I am doing? No, I don’t think so.
Novice shooters shooting different guns they couldn’t control. The flinching and fear was unbearable.
I would give those ******* a 10/22 and force them to properly shoulder the guns and use the sights, then move them on when/if the childish behavior stops.
I was at a loss for words when they keep yelling OOOHHHHHHHH every time a gun went off. Its too early in the morning to process all of this.
I was thinking maybe airsoft
To be fair, if you want more people to shoot guns, you have to assume some people have never shot guns. Right? You can’t have this ridiculous expectation that the Try Guys slide out the womb packing Glocks and no flinch reflex. Agreed on the childishness though. I remember being serious as hobo shit the first time I handled a firearm.
To be fair?
To be fair, I don’t think anyone here has the ridiculious expectation that these losers came out of the womb with a Glock but this whole vid is completely over the top retard-strong stupid toe-the-anti-line derptastic. From their weak pre-child attitudes while shooting, swinging the muzzle around and jumping all over the trigger, no understanding of how to hold the things, to their explanation of why the, “military grade” assault death rifles are so easy to shoot, to their explanation that every bullet they fired was equivelant to the death of a baby holding a puppy, to their explanation of how just holding the scary murder rifles was making them feel high and animalistic (and transformed them from men to boys), to their inability to understand that an effecient tool is at times necessary to end threats and SAVE lives, to their faux shock after being told they can die…to them saying it was a compensation for something, just on and on completely over the top retard from start to finish. I have taught children through adults how to shoot safely, I have watched children act MUCH more responsibly than these clowns. But I am sure they would probably say: “SEE! Some people are retards that’s why people shouldn’t have guns!”
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WOoGIE BoogIE BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!one111!!!!!
Holy fuck I would have taken all firearms from them and escorted them to the door. That is not an exaggeration.
And surprise surprise, liberal bed-wetters love these guys. Look at the view count, look at the thumbs up/down, read the insane comments…these people live in a retard echo-chamber.
Now, take an ibuprofen and read what this in the spirit with which it is intended. Okay, through your aneurism I did hear your point. I agree they are doing it for attention or likes or whatever.I agree the video is stupid and over the top. I agree these guys demonstrated super poor handling and safety skills.
Whose fault is that really? The ‘Try Guys’ are not shooters and they are not gun advocates. How could they know any better? On one occasion we will shit bricks over the disinformation rampant in the media and then on another we hold casual or first time shooters fully accountable for their poor firearm handling. This isn’t a debate about the teacup grip, either. These guys are utterly ignorant of firearms etiquette and are not vested in it like us. You cannot expect them to be, even if it benefits them. You can suggest and educate but at some point there is a limit to your influence. Which brings me to my next issue. I’ll bet you right now that the range owner and safety officer are not “liberal bed-wetters” and yet they allowed this to take place on their premises. Who is more responsible for these kids safety on the range grounds? Ideally, both parties. Practically and legally, the range is responsible in some way regardless of what these kids know or don’t know. Did the range take them through a safety briefing? Did the range insist it be filmed and edited into the clip?
Or did the range make them sign a liability waiver and then just release these twits?
Yeah they were in it for a publicity stunt than to actually learn, be safe, and respect guns.
I’ve been to DOZENS of gun clubs, plus been out shooting in public Sand Pits in rural Maine and I’ve never seen such jackholery. It’s a shame the gun range seemed to want publicity as much as them, after that first ND It would have been “Sorry Guys, Pack your shit!”
I’m confused. I think I just watched four girls shoot guns, but I saw no bouncing boobs…or maybe I did. I’m so lost right now.
Maybe get some straight dudes next time. Just saying.
I have several gay shooting friends….yeah, it’s not that they’re a bunch of sissy beta-males, it’s that they’re a bunch of fame-whores looking for clicks and not to learn anything.
I think being gay and being a sissy are two different things. Well, those guys are most probably both, but you get my point.
I’d like to see if the act the same way the first time they’ll actually touch a girl.
Wait, no, I don’t.
Yelling OOOHHHHHHHH every time a “gun” goes off.
Argh, too late, I just saw it and now it’s there forever.
Shit, what’s more manly than fucking another dude?
Got through about 2 minutes. Couldn’t stomach much more.
Hah, unless you learned to shoot when you were a kid, I bet you guys weren’t much different your first time. :P. Heh heh.
I learned to shoot as an adult. With that, came all the awareness and mental baggage. I wasn’t like *these* frickin’ guys, but I was excited. But also waaaay more safety conscious (terrified?) than if I picked up a gun as a 10 year old. Many of you guys who have been shooting since you were a kid won’t know what that’s like. Maybe think of it like learning to fly a passenger jet: all that power, all that responsibility.
I hear you. I started shooting in my high school musketry team. Just .22, no big deal. But I was focused as hell with my rugby coach breathing fire behind me. He would crouch, hand us one cartridge, observe us load the round, watch us fire, probably make fun of us and then move to the next student. When he was satisfied we were safe to handle the rifle, he would hand us all rounds for a given practice at once. I thought it was a good intro to shooting.
It was crazy to think that we had an open air shooting range opposite the school on a public road and an armory of rifles. Next to a tennis court and a fkn restaurant. TIA.
I learned to shoot as an adult, and although I was really ecstatic after the first round of .44 magnum I sent downrange, I didn’t yell like a little girl discovering a puppy for Christmas.
I showed that I was really having fun, but (I hope) in a more manly/adult way.
I learned to shoot as an adult, but I guarantee you this behavior was frowned upon by the CATM instructors.
And as an aside, the plane flies itself. We train computer system managers.
I learned to shoot at 7. I properly learned to recreationally shoot at 14. Neither time did I react this ridiculously, nor did I feel like that at any point.
Replace their man-cards with cock shaped pacifiers, all of them!
“Some day I might have kids, I know my kids aren’t responsible gun owners.”
What? First, grow some balls, otherwise you don’t have the capacity to procreate. Second, how in the hell can you know about someone that does not exist? If they are poor gun owners, it is because you failed them. The scouts are probably denouncing your existence at the moment.
All I got from this was “Crikey, I’m a little scared bitch and I’ll follow the cliche that guns are manly and used for compensating” and is this just an east coast thing? Remember the last Buzzfeed shooting video? Also I think something is wrong with since when I go to the range I don’t turn into a savage.
Los Angeles Gun Club is the same range that let in the other batch of Buzzfeed cretins in last time.
http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/08/robert-farago/anti-gunners-gun-range-come-smith-wesson-moment/
What is their motive in doing this?
Maybe trying to bring more people into the firearms world? Gee, I don’t know…
LA Gun club is by morons, for morons. No responsible range would have allowed this nonsense. You couldn’t PAY me to go to that range after seeing what kind of antics they will allow to happen on their property. That pro-gun guy should really re-evaluate who he hangs out with. I think he witnessed these assholes and realized that morons like them should not have guns. I disagree. They should, once they learn how to NOT FIRE A ROUND INTO THE CEILING UPON BEING HANDED A RIFLE. You don’t let people skydive without teaching them safety and respect, you don’t let people drive a car without letting them know how to do it safely, and you don’t hand them a gun if they don’t even know to keep their booger hooks off the boom switch.
preach
So, can you by these beta males on craigslist? Or?
Grindr.
New to guns, heres a sw500….right…
Drama llama at 1:50 (the line about “another life you could be taking”).
fags
Calling these idiots gay or fags is an insult to homosexuals. The blatant disregard for safety and inability to actually learn anything from the experience other than pseudo philosophical ramblings about compensation shows them to be insecure idiots who would prefer everyone else also be insecure idiots in order to not hurt their delicate world view. They are incapable of making the logical leap to the practicality of a firearm, especially concerning things like personal empowerment, something actual minority groups like, and you’d be surprised how many people that fall into the minority group category HAVE made that logical leap.
If I could issue a pistol to each and every gay person I know, I would.
These “guys” are such pussies its not fair to call them guys. Like seriously, what do they do with their lives? Sit around sucking each other off between manicures and Scentsy parties?
I just threw up in my mouth from over exposure to coc eating libtards. I would have charged them all triple price and $5/rd then kicked them out at the first ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh. Wtf is happening to this country
I almost threw up when that guy said masculinity. Those guys were about as effeminate as it gets…buzzfeed hires real winners. Forget guns…Steroids and deadlifts need to forced upon these men.
