High Speed Low Drag Gun Loading And Body Mechanics

Travis Haley talks about the power of habit, not all necessarily habits from the sandbox:

Zoolander-Travis-HaleyAlways good to hear what he has to say.  Long video because he talks TONS, because he has a lot of stuff on his mind and it’s definitely good info.

I hate not making my bed in the morning.  I don’t like looking at it when it’s a mess, and I hate getting into an unmade bed at night.

God his skin is beautiful.  Like a tactical god, follow that link and learn how to be more like Travis.

Thoughts?

You have to spend a lot of time putting lead down range to get really comfortable. Be it out shooting for fun, competition, or taking a class – trigger time really does matter.

Bought a Tavor. Definitely great gun. I think it is a clear improvement over the M4. But the first time I tried a combat reload my hand fell to where the mag should be on an M4 and I grabbed nothing. Given that Uncle Sugar doesn’t buy my ammo and range time anymore I went back to an M4. Old habits are hard to break and you don’t want to be karting how to break them at 2AM when you hear a crash in your house.
