Mmmmmmm manufacturing and testing:
I knew Brownells sold magazines, but I had no idea they actually MADE their own.
1:17 – I always feel sorry for the test firing guy when the gun is strapped into that torture device and he just has to go through the motions. In a perfect world that guy could develop some excellent bumpfire skills while on the job instead.
Cool to know that they sell the same mags to you and I as to those who operate in operations.
It’s nice to see Brownells being safe about things such as eye protection there too, as opposed to the Mantra AK-47 magazine factory haha.
Thoughts?

This reminds me it’s been 10 years since the AWB expired. Time flies…
Bownells is THE place to shop when looking for any and every gun tool and accessory! It’s the Amazon of the gun world, LUV IT!
No anti-tilt follower? Really, in this day and age?
Sucks that I no longer can order hardly anything from brownells… pretty much every item now are on the do-not-export-stuff-and-screw-those-sexy-vikings-in-perticular.
Now I have to be overcharged by those few specialist retailers that exists in Sweden, or write angry mails to Midways Swedish retailer which NEVER wants to stock anything ever… Do you know how hard it is to find a good competition brake/comp other then a JP comp priced at 180$ not only in Sweden, but in Europe? Very…
Either way, picking up my .223 upper tomorrow which is not that easy to get a licence for, so yay me anyway ;)
Shipping with Brownell’s seems to have gone up way higher than the actual rates in the past couple years.
Yeah, yeah.. Infrastructure, materials, and labor, but still. :(
Brownell’s shipping used to involve this horribly complex calculation of weights and quantities that the purchaser had to sort out, and I did it enough that i don’t complain about their shipping costs now.
The mags are great, I’ve got a zillion of them and frankly aren’t sure why I bother with PMags and such, except I guess chicks won’t have sex with me if I’m using plain metal mags and not HSLD stuff. And endurance testing is “fun,” until you have to do it. Then it rapidly becomes a pain, and boring.
LOL – “except I guess chicks won’t have sex with me if I’m using plain metal mags and not HSLD stuff.”
Notice it looks like at least someone from Brownell’s cares about my Red Dot now that I posted the toilet pic. Suhweet. Maybe something will get done now. Coming up on 3 damn months.
