Holy… please Dave, stick to being funny:
Anderson Cooper keeps is cool and has decent answers for the most part at least.
2:21 – “I’m not anti-gun BUT….”
No worries Dave, you’re a celebrity who can afford private security, and you’ll be able to carry your own gun even if you want in the case of a ban because you have money and connections. Who gives a shit about your regular American viewers, right?
Thoughts?

More leftest propaganda from Hollywood
Its all about programming. We’re in the minority. In some states, we’re in the extreme minority. It doesn’t matter if it’s legal on the Federal level if the states impose more restrictions. Lets face it, everybody can’t just up and move like Magpul.
Programming yes, but worse than you think. The progressive/statist/liberal mantra is “perception is reality” this I why there are so many progressives in Hollywood, news, and the arts. They get to shape perception with their lens, though it may be entirely different from reality. Thus law makers are told by a vocal minority, on the same page as Hollywood ect; that fracking is bad, gunshow loophole, common sense gun control, pro gun rights are in the minority, anti illegal immigration is racist, and so on. The lawmakers who have been in office they think it’s their right, always hungry for power pass an ineffectual law that that takes more of your librerty, and go home. Until Hollywood decides to shape reality again.
“I’m not anti-gun but…” Yep just like when someone says I’m not racist but… you know they’re going to say some ignorant shit.
Anyone gives a shit what Letterman says? Seriously, when I first saw him he was edgy and hip; it’s over twenty years later and he’s still using the same tropes and attitudes from twenty years ago.
“Holy… please Dave, stick to being funny:”
I would say that that particular ship has sailed and sank.
I love the Pooh picture.
They were wanting to ban all semi-auto rifles, now he’s talking about throwing semi-auto pistols on the heap to be labeled verboten. This country has more than 24,000 firearm laws, what additional gun laws would prevent what happened in Santa Barbara? Besides, what the hell shop (especially in NY) has millions of guns for sale including full auto?
Funny and Dave parted ways a long time ago.
I did not really get Cooper’s answer at 1:47. Letterman suggest they go shoot clay pigeons, and asks if Cooper has done that. “Well, uh, not *clay* pigeons, but yeah I’ve shot…” before he gets cutoff. Shot what, regular pigeons? Cooper sounds suspiciously, and surprisingly, somewhat not anti-gun – even mentioning the 3 stabbings. Whats up with that? Is he a closet gun nut?
I think he’s just an actual reporter, not some ass that just says what’s good for ratings/ the leftist agenda.
…also, he might be a closet gun nut. Fuck yeah.
Yeah, as a former reporter myself I always viewed him as ‘sincerely balanced’ for lack of a better word. So, even if you don’t always agree with his viewpoint you can bet he tried to get both sides of the story.
I don’t know much about Anderson Cooper besides the fact he goes or at least used to go places overseas and report when SHTF. He’s been in some pretty precarious situations from what I’ve seen. Seems like an alright guy that can think for himself, I wouldn’t be surprised if he enjoyed the hobby.
California has everything they say they want to stop shootings. And yet even their extremely restrictive laws and bans etc didn’t stop shit. When will these people learn?
Nothing a man says before the word “but” really matters.
