Nicely done video. Those with AK’s might be interested in what they run. I prefer AK’s old school original with wood, and my AR-15s tacticool but that’s just me.
More tactical than what I prefer. I prefer a sidefolding stock, 12-13 inch barrel (cut it down to the gas block), PSO-1 with the Simonov reticle. Also a suppressor is nice but then you need a non-vented gas block.

You’d think he would be using US Palm or Magpul mags at that point. If I had that much hanging off of an already relatively heavy rifle, I’d be shaving ounces like crazy. Plus it just seems odd to trick out everything except your mags.

It might have something to do with the fact they don’t live in the US… Import / export laws.

I prefer Bakelite furniture on my AK’s. Just make sure to throw in a heat-shield if you’re planning on any mag dumps. Also, Bakelite mags which are lighter than metal and work the best of all mags I’ve tried – better, even, than my Circle-10 Bulgarian polymers.
As for optics, I like the Rakurs sights. Like the AK itself, they’re low-tech and high-reliability.

I wish the Bakelite mags weren’t so damn expensive! Makes the Circle-10 mags look like the deal of the century.

Let’s see those armory pics, Mike. Unless you’re secretly a MAIG goon who’s been plotting on us this whole time. Hmmm.
