HSLD Polish operators in cinematic operations:
Really nice looking video. I felt like I was watching footage from a Bond movie.
2:30 – Is that Polish woodland camo? I like it! It even looks like it’s made from ripstop fabric.
7:00 – What’s that weird contraption behind the muzzle brake on his barrel for?
Thoughts? Does Poland have a good reputation as on of our tactical allies?

7:00 – probably a blank firing attachment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blank-firing_adaptor
Oh yea, nice! Good call.
Several times GROM has saved people’s asses when it counted most. They rescued US operatives behind enemy lines in Operation Desert Storm for one.
Regarding whether Poland has a good rep as one of our tacticool allies, I believe Mark Owen speaks about joint operations b/a them and seals in afganistan, in the book no easy day. I’d never realized Poland had these guys until then.
I think doesn’t Chris Kyle mention them in “American Sniper” as well?

Yup, Operator As Fuck.
Google is hard… All you’d have to do is spend a whole 3 seconds to google grom and you’d know the level of retard you have attained with your post… spoiler alert, you’re peaking right now.
You just took the words out of my mouth Ross !
These guys are rocking Multicam, that’s a sign of reliability !
Use of the word ‘dynamically’ CHECK
Not enough beards. But, the mosquito head nets are a nice touch.
these guys are so operational, even their Pierogi have notches.
GROM is an excellent group of soldiers, for sure a good reputation
Can’t speak to Pole SF, but the group of polish regulars we ran missions with were pretty good. Their uniforms and equipment always looked a little ate up (except for their rifles), but that was back in 09. Their people were always game for a patrol, and they were great to have in a fight. I’m sure their SF is a cut above.
Ok, I came in here looking for at least one Pollock joke. Maybe all the comment comedians were victims of a “snatch-n-grab” operation?
hahah nope I don’t delete comment humor!
GROM are a joy to work with.
Yes Chris Kyle mentioned about GROM as they were cooperating in Afgan missions few times (there is also a book by one of GROM’s operators which will be translated to english soon “my 13 years in GROM” and there is a part mentioning seals and Chris). Yes the “thing y” behind the muzzle break is a blind ammo attachment allowing the firearm to reload (providing additional compression for the piston to get back to reload the weapon). As for being good, well GROM has the training based on SAS (similar to Delta and Seals and they were even training few times together) as for other SF in Poland they have similar trainings with addition of specific roles they are used for, for example AGAT is quite similar to rangers and FORMOZA is mainly sea unit. Also they have HK416’s, the uniforms for combat are rip stops, most of the gear is top of the line as they have seperate foundings and different rules for weapons and uniforms than regulars. Also check for upcoming MSBS carbine. Also there is Drago from SEALS who is of polish origins. :)
Also our dear allies the American government fund our grom and forgot all of the money we owe them because we helped them out of a tricky spot aka saving 8 C.I.A. operatives
That was a weak ass fast rope.
The Army Ranger on “Dude You’re Screwed” has a CQB show on MavTV. I believe a few of the episodes were with Polish Special Forces.
At 7:00 it might be a blank firing adapter.
And like everyone has said, GROM is good crew of guys, they have been kicking ass in Afghanistan along side the US Special Forces since 2001. They also participated in OIF for a number of years.
I know from reading some reports that the Poles pulled their own weight in Afganistan.
Other then that, I’m too old to know much any longer.
did Chris recieve any awards from the ”Grom “‘ ?
cool
