VentureX Portable Anti-Drone Weapon That Fires Dogs, Urine, And Pills

This video from Tracking Point is confusing:

The breakdown by time:

  • 0:02 – Shady abandoned concrete buildings
  • 0:06 – Closed circuit surveillance cameras
  • 0:08 – Drone copter
  • 0:09 – Airplane
  • 0:11 – Caged dogs
  • 0:14 – Erlenmeyer flask full of urine
  • 0:17 – Something firing on a test platform (VentureX?)
  • 0:18 – Pathway in underground lair
  • 0:20 – Welding up a storm
  • 0:22 – something random and mechanical looking (part of VentureX?)
  • 0:23 – The secret thing on the test platform from before (VentureX?)
  • 0:25 – Prescription drugs
  • 0:27 – Shady looking crate
  • 0:28 – Looks like 3 targeting displays
  • 0:31 – A drones life hangs in the balance

Tracking-Point-Remington-VentureXSo I pretty much cracked the case on what this VentureX thing does.  The question now is, will the government be buying these things from Remington for some sort of tinfoil hat type stuff?  It’s really too early to tell.  I’m looking into Urine proof suits that resist dog bites though right after I finish this post.

Remington has a website set up for VentureX that doesn’t confirm what I said, but it’s really only a matter of time.

I read your description before I watched the video and it sounded a lot cooler how you described it.

I’m going to guess this is something along the lines of the self aiming rifle we saw concepts for awhile back. I wonder if the old “develop the market before there’s a product” scheme will work? Get people interested by the mystery of it all and they’ll ooo and aahhh once it’s unveiled.

There are video was better despite still being overly dramatic. It at least showcased that the “scope” could be used in an aerial platform and function as advertised.

  4. A CROWS system, a shotgun and some shitty dragons breath rounds.

  5. Technically at 0:14 that’s an Erlenmeyer flask full of urine.

NOT prescription drugs… They are just chemicals (before being made into compounds that at some point could be used for drugs, but not in this application). It looked like the first word was potassium, and based on the symbols, it’s harmful and dangerous for the environment, but not a corrosive or explosive.
