New from LaserLyte:
This will help you get your technique down before you inevitably have to pistol whip someone for real someday.
Here are some tips for those of you who are new to pistol whipping:
- Get the person on their knees. They obviously aren’t going to want to kneel down infront of you… the solution? Some Bruce Lee style move on the back of their knee caps. Since you roll so deep, this is actually a good task for a member of your entourage to perform. You’ve got a whole 9 steps ahead of you, energy has to be conserved.
- Alright here we go… start the interaction off by asking a really vague or even a rhetorical question. “Oh you didn’t think I’d ______ huh?”
- Next you’re going to want to throw in a statement about how they shouldn’t have messed with you. This is probably quite evident by now… but still, pistol whipping is all about being dramatic so make this part good.
- Tell them that you are in fact going to whip them with your pistol.
- Describe exactly what is going to happen and how it’s going to feel. “The slide of my Glock is going to hit the side of your face and shatter your pretty cheekbone into 1000 fragments and you’re going to taste gunshot residue, regret, and… etc.. etc..”
- Ask them if they are ready for it.
- Count down from five. 5……4……3 *WAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPOw*. Yea you hit them on 3… that’s a total boss move I learned from my dentist.
- Over enunciate a really solid swear word or profanity laden phrase, as dramatically as possible while they are lying there bleeding. This part is absolutely crucial. Yea they could be unconscious or really dazed, but again this is all just all about looking the coolest possible infront of whoever is watching.
- Act like you didn’t enjoy it. Shake your head, scowl scoff. It’s kind of like “cool guys don’t look at explosions”. You’re going to come across as a herb if you get all giddy that you just laid steel to face. You’re not a herb are you? Of course not… you made it to step #9.
- Casually walk away, or more realistically get on your badass custom hog and ride away without a care in the world.

…like, a similar real gun. Really? You couldn’t have reshot (no pun) that part?
Shitty copy of the SIRT pistol.
Lets see….$320.00 for the SIRT… or $55 for the Trigger Tyme Pistol… What exactly is that extra $245 buying you? Is it delivered by hookers? That might be worth it.
First the SIRT pistol comes with the lasers, where as with this thing you have to buy them. So part of the price difference is where.
Second the SIRT pistol has a number of features that this thing can’t match. The SIRT pistol has Glock or M&P (whenever that comes out) sight dove tails so you can put your own sights. Triggers are adjustable for weight, reset, break, etc so you. It has both a take up, and a break laser in two different colors, where as this thing only has the cheap laser trigger break laser. Also the SIRT laser stays on so you know when you are holding the trigger back, and not prepping the trigger. Those lasers are adjustable so you can move it to the point that you can see them over your sights, so you still get a visual indicator while being focused on your sights. The SIRT pistol accepts magazines so you can practice speed reloads (they are developing a version with a slide that moves so you can practice other reloads and malfunction clearing techniques).
The SIRT pistol was designed from the ground up as a training tool, it actually replicates your pistol. It is meant to train for people that use trigger prep. This was designed based on seeing reviews for the SIRT pistol and throwing something together without knowing what makes the SIRT so good.
With this honestly you are better off buying the laser they put in the gun in the video, and dry fire with your real gun. Yes the trigger won’t reset automatically, but this things trigger is no where near what your trigger is like, and it isn’t adjustable.
I am assuming you said “excuse me while I whip this out” before you drew your pistol.

Mike at least try to make some substantive comment on the product. Yuks are fine, but you must have literally nothing useful to say about the item itself.
I have no opinion on the product itself. Feel free to google any random other gun blog that talked about this for some standard thoughts on it (sight unseen) though.
