KIA: Killed In Action

The gun store guys kick it up a notch. Their most epic video yet:

3:43 – LOL at the sound of the KIA’s slow death.

7:01 – I kind of figured that shooting Tannerite that close when it was under something wasn’t the greatest idea… I was right.

Something tells me that the 10 Year 100000 mile warranty which KIA has is void on that particular vehicle.

Thoughts?

  1. Ugh. I couldn’t make it past 4 minutes. If they wouldn’t talk, and just shoot. The video could have potential.

hahah man you complain so much.

    2. See that red bar with the little white circle? That’s there to help you overcome the Wadsworth Constant. Try it!

  2. I just loved Moss on that ghetto outfit!

  3. @7:02 you can witness a grown ass man shit his pants.

  4. BTDT We were just as lucky as them when it came to tannerite shrapnel. I’ll certainly never do that again, you can see how much stuff flew back on them. We had metal landing BEHIND the firing line at over 100 yards on our shoot. Glad nobody got hurt.

They have a token chick and black but seem to be missing the token asian. Also, to many hillbillies in one photo.

    1. LOL. Yeah, it does kinda look like a casting call for a “Deer Hunter” remake.

I just hope they decontaminate the soil from all those toxic fluids they dumped.

  6. We had an “entertaining” Tannerite moment at our machine gun shoot in upper PA in September. Some guys placed a rather large amount at the front tire of an automobile about 100 or so yards out, which will NEVER be allowed again! When it went off the blast it actually spun the car slightly (it moved about 5-6 feet) but the path of least resistance for most of the blast was was to reflect off the engine compartment and send the front quarter panel and some random chunks of steel flying at the firing line. The quarter panel slid to a stop about 30 yards in front of the line position I was at but several fist-sized chunks landed well behind the line with one traveling at about head height between two of my buddies (they were about 8 feet apart.) We have had other entertaining incidents but this was the closest…we added some new checks to our pre-shoot safety protocol for the next time concerning Tannerite placement which will now have to be verified by an RSO.

  7. @Gregory, most Range Safety Officers have zero ordnance and blast radius knowledge!
The danger of firing line ordnance (binary, single and b/p) is that predicting shrapnel dispersal is a art form more than a skill – all it takes is for one little bit of unknown high speed steel to be a component of a target and its shrapnel city!

The increase in interest of using binary’s on shooting range corresponds to the number of serious ‘shrapnel’ incidents appearing in emergency rooms across the States! Just watch frame 7:16 on this to see the point proven perfectly!

Best blast radius scale for using binary explosives – for each pound, back away one State!

    1. @Kevin: backing away one state wouldn’t have gotten us too far since we were less than a mile from the New York border!

So they throw a couple thousand rounds downrange but they self edit the word shit from their video.

    Priorities.

  10. Is anybody else starting to get concerned about vids like these, and the ones from the fake-Russian dood, showing just how damaging a (reasonably) small amount of binary can be? A bed-wetting liberal propaganda piece “news” article about our Python Hunt here in Florida has the top article on Yahoo this morning…

Sooner or later, some young, cub reporter is gonna see a YouTube links and faster than you can say “How dew you like doze appelz?”, we’ll get “Do you know what your kids can do with some legally obtainable aluminum powder??? Tonight at 6!” That, followed literally *seconds* later, by new ATF regulation… Anybody wanna bet?

    1. nope, i dont want to lose my money. i think its all but a certainty.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. It’s just a matter of time, probably when someone is not as “lucky” as this crew causes a serious injury. Sometimes I think the “gun culture” is it’s own worst enemy.

Stock up while you can still get it.
