20 Gauge Super Soaker Shotgun Conversion

Randy Smith of Fresno, CA was planning on wetting mofos up:

What? How? That is illegal in California!  How come Randy did that?  Oh wait… he’s a criminal and didn’t care.

Not the safest gun on earth obviously.. but i’m sure it might manage a couple shots before KB’ing.

I laughed at 2:01 when it said he was 54 years old.   I was expecting some 15 year old gang banger punk.   Yea, not heat at all Randy… a 54 year old man out for a stroll with a fluorescent kids toy, especially when cops are on the lookout for such a thing that’s converted.   Dumbass…

Not the first time we have seen a Super Soaker shotgun. That one from 2009 had a whole mossberg pump inside it though, so it would have been safer.

Thoughts?

“And I would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for those kids in the green van and a talking great dane.”

I hope this asshole is happy, now supersoakers are gonna get banned or, at the very least, get nerfed/regulated by the government to such a degree that they’re no longer any fun.

    1. Exactly what I was thinking!

  5. If he was in Compton, I could see his need. Fresno, not so much.

HES NOT AN IDIOT JUST TALENTED

  6. The gun shop dude makes one mistake though: smokeless powders like we use are not technically explosives. They’re propellants; they burn fast, but don’t detonate. The reason they behave like explosives is that we confine them in a barrel chamber with no way for the pressure to expand but down the barrel.

If you go to the websites of the powder makers, they all have a page like this one at IMR.

I actually was going to say all this shit too but I’m lazy. I’m glad you did.

It irks me when people think cartridges are explosives. They don’t blow up, they burn really fast. The only thing even remotely explosive-like in a cartridge is the primer.

Smokeless powder is a high explosive. Typical double based powder is nitrocellulose and nitroglycerin… both high explosives.

Forgot to add in …depending on how you initiate it.

“Typical examples of deflagrations are the combustion of a gas-air mixture in a gas stove or a fuel-air mixture in an internal combustion engine, and the rapid burning of gunpowder in a firearm or of pyrotechnic mixtures in fireworks.”

          You’re wrong.

“Explosive materials may be categorized by the speed at which they expand. Materials that detonate (explode faster than the speed of sound) are said to be “high explosives” and materials that deflagrate are said to be “low explosives”.”

The detonation of TNT for example is caused by a shockwave set in action by a blasting cap. This is not what happens when a primer is set off in a cartridge. There is a flash hole in the primer pocket which allows the primer to ignite the propellant.

Smokeless powder deflagrates. Smokeless powder is a “low explosive”.

Furthermore detonation is implied when people say cartridges “explode”. This is NOT the case with the common smokeless propelled cartridge.

Yes, when you use it in a fire arm it deflagrates but if you initiate it with a blasting cap you get a detonation…. hence why i said it depends on initation.

I’ve NEVER seen smokeless powder used with a blasting cap. Furthermore we’re talking about firearms useage here. Stay on topic buddy.

Yeah I’m just being one of those guys that says “well technically” even though it isn’t common useage….but more of a fun fact.

The Officers should have waited until they were fired-on to determine it was a real shotgun… I mean, it doesn’t even look like a hose-nozzle gun!
