Red Bull sure knows how to show their guys a good time:
Safety Nazi mode on: Camera men at 4:00-4:13 are ahead of the line of fire… and it’s the kids first time shooting auto.
Those flame throwers were pretty sweet. I like the idea of using AR-15 parts…. good aesthetic appeal.
Note to self: Acquire a flamethrower.
Thoughts?

I’m a fast reader — but they show the signs for a glimpse of a second — not long enough to read them. I made it to the minute mark before I said “Fuck it.”
They spelled Sergeant wrong
3:07 WTF THE PRO SKATER HAS BETTER TRIGGER DISCIPLINE THAN THE FIREARMS GUY?!?
Yeah, well, that snow boarding dudes have massively better booger hook control than that doofus old guy: “This here is the barret, you know, like the Special forces guys are using, the sniper, you know, rifles. And uh, the bullet goes accurate almost a mile and a half. Accurate; straight as an arrow.” = pure DERP. Accurate, but not that accurate…
Dang: those* snowboarding dudes…
Man, I’m jealous. Those skater ass clowns (who seem nice enough) getting to use that kind of equipment. Dang.
Redbull is a company that knows what it’s doing. I played paintball semi-pro and redbull would give us free products, but wouldn’t allow us to wear the logo. They work really hard and keeping a specific image, and they get what they want. They sponsor 2 professional golfers… The youngest female pro, and a very young male pro both that have a huge fan following.
When I was living in Golden, CO me and a few buddies of mine went down to the Dragon Man in Colorado Springs (Coloradans call it The Springs) once and it was a blast. The old coot is pretty crazy though.
And yeah, just a word to the wise don’t try to go there if the apocalypse happens. The Dragon Man will destroy you.
Yeah, I’m stationed here in the Springs. Dragon Man has better security than the base. Layers of fencing topped with C wire, cameras, an inner compound and motorpool, and machine gun mounts with shields. That’s just what you can see walking around. He has a complete machine shop and makes most of his own stuff. The range is nice and you can shoot just about anything you can think of out there. He also has special training ranges he built just for 10th group.
Did you know that flamethrowers are in no way regulated, as they are considered a farm implement.
hmmm I was not aware of that. I wish you never told me that, because I can’t really make any excuses for not getting one now… but i’m deathly afraid i’ll burn my face off or set something on fire by accident that I shouldn’t have.
Well these Propane Torches with Push Button Igniter are $30 from Harbor Freight. Mating it up with kind of flammable sprayer system shouldn’t be too hard.
I think the trick would be preventing the flames/spark from burning back into the supply source.
Lookup a flashback valve. Thats what you need to keep it from pulling flame back inside.
holy shit dude this video really made me appreciate flame throwers. the fucking range on that thing was incredible!
