Blog reader Chris Harper brings it:
If you don’t get why the picture is funny, take a close look at the magazine.
In case any of you that are reading this post forgot, HK screwed up royally with their catalog cover photo a while back and loaded the rounds in backwards and secured themselves a spot in the internet gun hall of fame /shame.
You can buy Chris’ gun at GunsAmerica for $650 – HERE You’ll be operating in highspeedlowdrag special operations in no time.

So much win.
you should check this thread http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=5&f=29&t=13711, its a pic thread in the HK handgun section of ar15.com. id say a good 90% of the posters post pics with their magazines the same way!
hahah that’s great!
Well, it IS easier to the load the mags that way…
Now i’m curious, how would things go down if you tried to shoot with that backwards loaded magazine? xD. I mean, instajam, nothing, what?
And yay, good ol handcannon .45. Even when 9mm is long and gone, dead and useless, we’ll still have you :D
Nothing. You’d pull the trigger, the firing mechanism would tap the tip of the bullet, and that’s it.
Less than that, the round wouldn’t even chamber. Remember the case is wider than the bullet and the chamber is cut to match the cartridge. Gun wouldn’t even be in battery for the firing pin to fall.
Well that answers my question :3
Hate to burst your bubble but 9x19mm Parabellum is two years older than .45 ACP.
But .45 will allways have it’s place. 9mm is doomed to be replaced by some fancy schmancy high penetration small caliber round. Nothing comes close to good ol .45. Say 10mm and i’ll slap you D:<
10mm
You do not want to incur the wrath of the limp-wrist >8C
just think of the photo shoot. Bet they use phrases like clip and slug – and the photographer thinks he knows guns inside out.
Let’s not forget the bottom of the barrel “gunmetal gray” serpa holster being used. Surely an HK would only use the high end serpa holster and not some $20 bargain bin holster.
