Sage advice Travis, thank you.
A couple other popular Magpul humor posts I did:
- Christ Costa, Travis Haley and Drake Clark – Biblical Magpul Dynamics
- Travis Haley Has A Dynamic Accident
I wonder if anyone at Magpul reads this blog? :P Since I started this blog I’ve heard from a handful of other big time companies in the field, but never them.

Oh, man, I’ve been putting on some pounds lately, so my pants have been getting a little snug. Haven’t noticed my groups tightening up, though. LOL!
hahahha Hmmm… have you tried the “arm elbow locked and hand at the front of the handguard” grip like they do? :P
Haha… I’d just started seeing that kind of grip used, since I’ve been watching some 3-gun coverage lately. I was wondering what the deal was. Finally heard it explained that it helps you stop/start movement of the muzzle better. After trying it around the house a few times, I’m not sure I’m convinced.
Yea I think they likened it to holding a sword in fencing in their promotion of the Angled Fore Grip. I don’t do much “dynamic” shooting at all, so I haven’t really got a chance to try it out properly.
Is it just me or are their thumbs rotating progressively further around the hand guard? In their first set of videos, I seem to remember the forward hand having the thumb more facing the target at the 11 o’clock position. In the next installment of their videos, I foresee the wrist blocking the optic.
I want those pants. Where are they from? haha but seriously, I want those pants.
LOL I don’t know.
Armand,
I’ve been looking for a an old friend of mine with your last name. We were friends when we used to live in Charleston, WV area, back in 1996-97.
If you think you can help, send me a message.
Thanks!
