I don’t really care for Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz, but the movie looks pretty interesting. Gotta love the dual wield of the HK MP7 towards the end of the trailer.

    We were going to see this the other night, and schedule didn’t work out. We’ll undoubtedly catch it sometime in the next couple of weeks.

    I like Tom Cruise movies. Sure, he’s probably a nut – but if I chose my movies based on my level of aggreement with the actors/directors/producers I’d most like never darken the doors of a theater again. John Wayne quit making movies when he passed away :) There’s only a few actors/directors that I won’t patronize based on their private lives or politics – and that’s just because they are so far over the line that I can’t get past it.

    I’ve had a bromance with Tom Cruise ever since Collateral came out.

      damn I forgot about Collateral… that movie was amazing.

    Ooooh, I have to agree with Paladin about “Collateral”; I forgot about that one. I was going to say that I though the third “Mission Impossible” wasn’t terrible (that was the last movie I could think of that had him in it). Except for, one of my most recent favorite movies – “Tropic Thunder.”

    I have, for a long time, thought that he is a total nutjob – the whole Scientology thing is absurd. But, I regained a lot of respect for him when he played that completely over-the-top, ridiculous role in “Tropic Thunder,” and then I saw clips from the MTV Movie Awards where he was doing that character again. I laughed so hard at that character that Tom Cruise can’t be all bad. And this movie looks like it might not be too bad. It’ll be worth the dollar at Redbox when it comes to DVD anyway.

    Meh. Whatever. One or two good movies. I still hate Tom Cruise. I think he ruins most everything he touches.

    I could care less about his personal life, but the man makes some good movies. Collateral, the MI movies are great, and Les Grossman is brilliant.
