Since open carry of firearms will likely be banned in California sooner or later, residents will have to find an alternate way to protect themselves:
Is an axe a weapon? Sure, but depending on context, everything is a weapon:
“Oh the axe on my back officer? I was just on my way to my friends house to help him make some kindling” – Legal disaster possibly averted. :P
If you think you have the balls to pull off such a fashion/personal protection statement, hit up the links below to purchase it.
As always, if you live in California, make sure to let the politicians know how you feel about the impending ban, before it’s too late.

Future headline: “California legislators pass ‘Axe Act’ stating axe handles and axe heads must be carried ‘separate and detached’ from each other. Says one brave lawmaker: ‘If we don’t restrict the use of these menacing weapons, heads will roll and blood will flow in the streets of California! We don’t want our state looking like some Wild West lumbercamp!’
The NAA plans to file suit immediately.”
hahah we must stop the axe act before its too late!
Why get a leather holster when you can get a kydex one?

California’s sad future
Although, with California’s lack of shooters with skill and having to load the gun before using it you might be better off with an Axe. (don’t bring a gun to an axe fight) na it just does not sound right. ;)
maybe the axe head will have to be separated from the handle in the future? :P
Just tell the officer its a…. … bottle opener.

The other day I rode to work on my Honda ruckus scooter with my California legal ar15 slung over my back in a carry case. I got pulled over for how my license plate was mounted. He never asked what was in the case.
Fail for using a carrying case and not just a sling! haha jk Joey… I’m surprised he never asked you what was in the case.
