This summer, more than 600 museums in all 50 states are offering free admission to active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day, May 31, 2010, through Labor Day, September 6, 2010 to show their appreciation for those who are serving this nation.

What a great idea!
I would have liked to see the program extended to anyone that has ever served, but I suppose they they needed to draw the line somewhere or else they would lose too much money.

In the same vein, active military personnel can get a 5 dollar ticket to any* Yankee game Monday-Thursday at the Stadium.
*Except Boston, Mets or Phillies games.
That’s awesome! Thanks Pat.
Well, active duty requirements or not, that is just awesome… In my time in, I definitely appreciated facilities doing things like this, and hit up Busch Gardens and their properties a few times myself.
