Penn’s agent Jennifer Goodwin confimed a TMZ.com report that Penn was walking in the city at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday when he was robbed at gunpoint for his wallet and other items.

How on earth did a criminal get his hands on a gun in D.C.?!
If you don’t know who Kal Penn is, he is best known for his role as Kumar in Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. If you haven’t seen both those movies you are seriously slacking.
Oh yea, and Kal Penn, whose real name is Kalpen Modi, currently serves in the Obama administration as a liaison with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities. Please don’t let that discourage you from seeing his movies though, as they are extremely funny.

do we really need to say this again around here? ok here goes ……”Criminals do not obey gun laws!!!”
This news report is obviously a complete fabrication. Possessing firearms, carrying firearms, threatening people with firearms, and robbing people are all illegal in the District of Columbia, and we all know those laws are absolutely necessary to stop crime because they work.
This news reporter has a good future in fiction.
Yea it was probably some publicity stunt for a new movie Kal is doing. :P
“How on earth did a criminal get his hands on a gun in D.C.?! ”
Obviously it was those darn racist, gun-toting, NRA-loving, southern conservatives who convinced the SCOTUS to pass Heller that are at fault!
Yea, must have been one of those tea party members that needed money to get home. hehe
I think it’s great that the White House chose, as a public relations liaison, a guy who’s most famous for playing a doped up moron who’s so high he can’t manage to navigate his way to his favorite fast food joint. (I see he also played a terrorist on the hit show “24,” that’s a nice role for public relations too.)
hahaha yea, when I first heard he was working for the white house I thought it was a joke.
Yeah. Although, on second thought, I couldn’t help but remember the scene from “Back to the Future” where Marty McFly is back in 1955 and Doc Brown asks him who the president in 1985 is. He tell him it’s Ronald Reagan and the good doctor scoffs, “the actor???”
Yeah but Reagan was the best president ever and
It’s too bad he wasn’t shot. He’s a terrible actor and those movies are retarded.
I thought both of the movies were hilarious.
