I would classify this as a banana magazine, not a banana clip:

I, too, have provided guidance on the difference between a clip and a magazine.
I’m also known for becoming irritated when someone who should know better uses the wrong term.
The magazine is from an Enfield.
I might also mention that the “curved yellow fruit” is sometimes referred to as a telephone.
It can also be used as an earplug, wherein you’ll hear someone say, “I can’t hear you, there’s a banana in my ear.”
