*sigh* Based on how the media portrays it, this might as well be a Canadian gun identification chart. Heck, probably even British too.

Oh wow, my chart is making the rounds on the internet.
I created this way back in 2007 and posted it for fun. I never thought it’d end up being cycled around the internet though!
I would’ve reworded things differently nowadays, but the idea was conceived when I saw Customs seize a 9mm Hi Point that some poor bastard tried to import. They referred to it as a “Semi Automatic Carbine” and somehow when the mdeia found out, they referred to it as an “AK-47 style military rifle”. Couldn’t be further from the truth.
